In the Halo 3 FAQ section of this site it mentions that the amount of player allowed during gameplay is still TBA, thats kinda odd isnt it? kinda makes you think that it might be more than 16 this time around?

EDIT: the poll is for what you think the number will be closer to, not an exact amount

If bungie decides to add some really huge maps, then 24 or MAYBE 32. Not too likely though. I would say 16 for online, but up to 32 for LAN ONLY.

ive always thought that Containment could have handled 24 easily without over crowding, i always felt that even in an 8 v 8 map i wasnt constantly killing people
