Ok well I will try to answer your questions as posted but if I skip you just let me know. First of all I did play it along with everyone else at fanfest. You can verify that I was there simply by looking at my chapters There you will see Bungie Fanfest 2004, a chapter only open to those that got into fanfest. Oppiten, I've been a member since 2002, not 2004 and this was my third fanfest. So there! : P Don't be jealous, I just want to answer your questions. Anyways, we didn't see the main menu cause the system link menu was preloaded when we came in. Duel wielding is cool and easy to pick up. Just hold Y to duel wield and X to swap/add to empty slot. When duel wielding, melee attacks cause you to drop the secondary weapon a la shooting while carrying the flag in halo 1. While I'm on the subject, the flag is treated more like a weapon and can only be picked up by holding X. Two thumbs up on that! I didn't really use the target tracking on the rocket launcher partially cause I forgot and partially cause I only had the RL once during gameplay. There is a health meter but it appears that you only have one health dot. So if your shields are down you die pretty quickly. I belive this is for the sake of realism, not the asthetics of the HUD. Also, I especially liked the interactive and moving environments. They add so much more to the multiplayer and make the world more dynamic and increase the unique aspects of each individual match. Anyone else?
P.S I was told that sprinting is still up in the air and that's why it was turned off in this build.
