And so God called Moses to come forth but he came fifth and was therefore disqualified.

What is wrong with camo sniping? I need to know, as I do it all the time.

It's been nerfed.

Umm... Answer the question?

Herp derp.

Nothing. Legitimate strategy is legitimate.

Its a legit strategy, but its noobish and real snipers dont use it.

Imo camo is wrong in general, it encourages players to camp and use cheap tactics. Walking around and scanning the map carefully, only to have a camo using player that was standing perfectly still rush you 2 seconds with a shotgun is not cool.

There are snipers. Not "real snipers" and "fake snipers".
Gyardos is right.

It's more of a tactic than a strategy, and of course some players will defend it as a legitimate strategy, but obviously those will be the ones that like to abuse it. What you guys don't realize is how you can take away the fun for other players. There's already COD with all it's ridiculous crap than encourages lame tactics, I'm disappointed Reach is the same way in most playlists.

I think people just get jealous of how many kills you get if you do it. Besides, to be a "pro" you have to do everything the hard way it seems. That is just silly.

For every tactic, there is a counter.

You want a sandwich? Sure. As long as you don't mind me putting poison in it.

Yeah. I use the AR, so what? All you can do is scream and rage about me using the weapon.

I have no problem with Camo Snipers because I know that, as soon as you fire a shot, I can trace the bullet back to your location.

Exactly, as I said, for every tactic there is a counter.

I don't use it because I would feel like too much of a pansy if I did. But as for what's wrong with it, nothing really. It's just really annoying. Funny thing is though, when I find out someone on the other team is using it, I still kill them three or four more times than they kill me (if they kill me at all). Which is sad, because it should be incredibly easy for them.

Just like banshees.

Tracing a bullet back is not a counter for camo at all, a counter is something that would be the opposite, like in Crysis 2 where you have a thermal sensor you can switch on to see cloaked players, and in Reach there isn't an AA that is designed to counter Camo. And the usual use your eyes statement doesn't really apply if your opponent is invisible waiting for the perfect chance to strike.

So basically... Waypoint is pro-vanilla?

Posted by: Sentox6
Waypoint isn't pro-anything so much as they're just anti-intelligence.

Because camo sniping is for players who can't snipe well without being invisible. OP, if camo was taken out of the game, I guarantee you couldn't maintain that 1.5 sniper KDR.

Life is a journey, if you spend all of it with your nose in your map, you may miss some of the best parts.
