I've seen MLG videos before, and I see them quickly spinning the reticule around in a small circle. I was wondering what this is/does.

its called an Ogre Twitch. Some pros, the Ogre twins, did it back in the day to get used to their sensitivity. That is all.

actually, I believe it was because the controllers would "un-calibrate" themselves (making aiming harder) after a bit and spinning the joystick in a full circle of motion would fix this back in halo 1. Then H2 came around, and this was less of a problem and more of a habit that stuck around.
