Yeah I miss them too, I really enjoyed those maps for CTF, and Snipers, I have they bring them back, and redecorate them to!

If they got rid of the Ice on sidewinder and added some more obstacles, bringing back Sidewinder would be great. Hang em' High wouldn't work, however, with the autoaim increase that Halo 2 seems to have prescidented.

The reason Hang 'em High wasn't in Halo 2 was because the new weapon system didn't work well on the map

Sidwinder was a cool map, and Hang em High was ok. but i like them both.

I remember playing with 15 other people on SW and when I was driving a Scorpion rounding a corner, about a dozen rockets came at me.

I dont really see what the big deal is about Hang em High. That map got really boring really fast...It was just one huge freakin' pistol war the entire time.

Haha nice, I remeber when I was on that map, back when rockets didnt have the lock-on ability, we werre playing CTF and they got our flag, and i randimly shot a rocket into the open near them middle and nailed them!, it was great.

Aw, come now. HeH is a very involved map for team strats, and is a very nice map for FFA (The official 50K FFA map, I believe)

I'll admit i did have some fun times on it. Maybe if you didnt spawn with the pistol (or the pistol is more like the H2 pistol) then it would be more fun. I just got annoyed always trying to use another weapon and winding up dead in a few seconds.

The pistol was no problem, IMO, and was a great game balancer. The open-ness of the map made accuracy essential, and therefore a good FFA map. The power weapons were out in the open, but near catwalks, so ways to them are endless if you start out with grenades.

If you died alot, try keeping to a high point of the map and get the jump on people below you. It's a simple, yet effective strategy to use against players of average skill level, although skilled players will pick you off if you camp in one spot too long.

I think people need to remember that this is going to be halo 3, not halo 1 remixed. Why can't you let yourselves enjoy new maps and maybe you'll end up liking them more than outdated halo 1 maps.
