Subject: This forum needs more Civil Discourse

To break the discourse in this thread down to a dichotomy is a wholesale inaccurate representation of the posts entered into this forum.
I tend to have a competitive mindset, but there are some things from the casual ideology that I can agree with. While I find these terms to be an accuate depiction of the two extremes on this site, I agree that viewing the situation as a dichotomy is too simplistic a perspective. There are a lot of positions one could take on an issue, but the casual and competitive subgroups have lead to polarization of this forum. I have observed a lot of taking sides, to the detriment of real discussion.
Giving people a parameter of two sides that they must choose to view their thoughts from creates a disconnect from thinking of a variety of answers to complex issues. This sounds eerily like American politics...

There's always room for you, If you want to be my friend.

Op you need to understand that everyone on the forums have equal opinions, but the more "skilled players" opinions are more equal than everyone else.

This post is full of both truth and win but is doomed for the TL;DR kids.

I agree on all accounts, it sometimes amazes me how courtesy can just be thrown out the window when one is on the internet.

On that note, thank you for reading this post.

For The Lulz is a worthier cause than For The Win.

From the skies to the ground, I'm the one that'll reign destruction down on you from behind the wheel and the flight stick. Keep your eyes on the rear view mirror, or you may be eating exhaust aside the road, riddled with holes.

My sniper is hungry for souls.

If at first you fail, fail again so that you succeed by wrapping your fail around the continuum into the win zone.

Anyone who's been here for more than a month knows that this is the case, unfortunately.

I would be a lot more convinced to engage in these kind of conversations if people were willing to listen.

But it is usually an endless battle of "Nope, you're bad."

By all means if there was a worth while arguement, then I'd join, but if not, then why bother posting so much and take so much time to write a well thought of post, only for it to be ignored by ignorance?

A silly suggestion.
