"No, Hoobla. No."
~DeeJ

Some threads are just TOO BIG. Many times people want to ask about a subject, titles for example, and people just post links to other threads. However these threads are just too dang big! Do people actually go to page 964 to answer others questions? No, your question just goes unanswered and your original thread is locked. I know we have to prevent repeating the same thing all the time but once a thread is over 75 pages, its time to make a new one.

What? It takes one click and your at the last page, not entirely sure how an answer will just go unanswered. Besides, wouldn't this just fill the forums up with repeating threads?

"Would you like your thread Super-Sized sir?"
"Uh, yeah. Super-Size me..."

Yeah but the only people that go to these old oversized threads are looking to get answers not give them. While a new thread attracts pretty much anyone who sees it.

And lets be honest, B.net is not getting the traffic it used too, it can handle a few extra threads...

Duardo's title thread is so big that the pages don't work right at times and it can take a lot of time to load, but that doesn't mean we need a new one.

95% of the time if you ask a question in the title thread, someone will respond with in a day to your question.

Uhh... if your talking about the title thread, I patrol that thing to answer questions about titles like no other. In fact, I basically patrol every thread. If your question is unanswered, it's probably because no one knows the answer.

More to the topic: I'd like an example, unless you were refering to the title thread, to which I'd reply uhh, dude, I'd answer your question if I could.

Well I've asked a couple questions in that thread that got completely buried with no response and I just learned the answers by research and time.

Well, the only time I would've let a question slip was the first and second of the new year and when I was with my family a little earlier. What were your questions?

I also maintain that Chrome is weaksauce, and IE9 is fast and works very well

In the case of the title thread everything you need to know should be found in the first post. The rest of the thread is basically people posting to say their title changed or people asking when they will get a title, which can't really be answered (the best answer is what is in the first post.) Whenever something important comes up Duardo usually updates the first post.

As others have said, you can get to the last post in a thread with a single click - click on the white box with two arrows in it next to the last post in the top forum topics, or click on the time of the last reply to a topic at the main forum list.

As for this:

Consider the title thread: If it was split up into multiple threads there would just be 13 title threads and that wouldn't really be helpful either.

Why is this a bad thing?

Think not of the forum boards as your one and only source for factual information. Actually, don't think of it as factual at all.

Make it what you will, but if your intent is to seek knowledge, might I suggest you to use Bungie.net to find further information that sparks your interest, then verify it by a more credible means.

Is this too big a thread?

Lol, yeah, most threads seem to die and turn into spam after about 20 pages because all that needs to be discussed is discussed already. Just look at the lifehacker thread or the slender man thread on the flood, they get like 5 replies a week. Who am I to stop people from trying to discuss it though? I say if it is popular and people still want to communicate in it somehow let them do it as long as it is still on topic.
