For Carnage Apply Within - We played Marathon before Marathon was cool!

Keep it authentic...

Here is a short video I made on how to set up and use XBConnect: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGZgVHRvkMI. Links to all the stuff you will need are in the description.

My understanding was that your computer had to be plugged into your router but your Xbox could be wirelessly connected to your router. Also, in rare cases people were able to do an all wireless setup and still have XBC work.

I don't get why people haven't moved onto Xlink Kai yet. It's so much easier to use, setup, etc. With Xbox Connect I've only had constant headaches and a lack of population.

Okay 2 questions.

1-
I created an account on the XBC website. Do I need to create a new one when I click on the icon on my desktop?

2-
My xbox is connected wireless to my router. ANd I have my computer plugged up to my xbox via ethernet. Terrible set up, I know. What should I do?

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

XBC sucks, everyone uses Kai.

XBC is the best, south americans uses Kai.

Fixed that for you.

I haven't even played on XBC or Kai and I know that's the truth.

South Americans use XBC as well. In fact, while JGR, re4thewin, and I were playing Halo 2 on Xlink Kai, we decided to dual-host with XBC. You know what happened right after we decided to connect to XBC? Laggy hell from South Americans. True story.

If more UK/American players would just get on Kai and leave XBC we would have a good player base. With how you can choose which region your arena will be there is a lot less interference from our laggy neighbors from down south. Kai is simply built better in every way compared to XBC. I don't see why Americans/UK players haven't realized this by now.

Xbox wireless to router computer ethernet to router.

So I keep my Xbox connected wirelessly (Sp?) to my router, while having my computer connected to my router with an ethernet cable?

Sounds easy enough.

Yes. Why does it say (Sp?)?

Why does it say (Sp?)?

It means if there was a spelling error I didn't know about to overlook it. Spell check said it was incorrectly spelled but I didn't see how.

Thanks. Maybe I'll get it set up someday...

The word "Wirelessly" was not a word at the time this spell check was created. That's the problem. :P

I hope that helped :D
