Only the dead have seen the end of War...Plato

For those of you who doubt lyca in having any comparisions, but consider this. "Alternatively, in a recent news release, Bungie stated that "I mean for one thing, you have to figure that if we were doing a secret vial campaign, we wouldn't call it ilovebees, because you know, that wouldn't be terribly secret." Their misspelling of the word "viral" in the context of the game makes it very suspicious, as both the term "vial" (specifical a Vial of Power) and misplaced/missing/added "R"s have been recent themes throughout."

Got that when searching wiki on ILoveBees. So this could be the next I love bees but in the coming weeks or monthes more info will be revealed.

Also I emailed the address and got this very detailed message

Well a few people on the Halo 3 forums discovered your site, presumably the equivalent to I love bees and I want to wonder if it has another related to Halo 3. You give hints and at the end state "Start Digging".

If so is this the only thing we' le get or will info will be given out as info about Halo 3 is announced?

Thats all I got, so basiccly nothing but he replied back....

I think we should keep spamming the adress with questions, and force him into submission. :D

I got a response! I got a response! Read...

Lyca is my cat.

This could mean that this has nothing to do with Halo...or maybe it does mean something? Didn't the Letters say something about Lyca being a cat...

(Original Email, response on top/email on bottom)

Lyca is my cat.

I've heard a bit of buzz about your site on Bungie.net. Some think it is an
alternate reality game for Halo 3. I'm not so sure, but to be certain, I
have some questions for you that I would like answered...

Are you affiliated with Bungie?
Is your site in relation to Halo 3?
What is the meaning of the site?

If you could reply, I would be extremly grateful.

If you look at the combined hand, then look at the bloody handprint, they are from opposite hands (left, then right, both palm side up). Not that it helps... but you know. And if someons already posted this... im sorry.

No, we need to stop this now.

The guy is a legit guy with a cat. The website has been there just like that for over 6 years (verified with the Wayback Machine)

I'm going to lock this thread now, so as not to encourage any more spamming of the man's email address, but I'll leave the topic linked in the Threads of Interest thread so it doesn't get lost.

I know your concerns about the fanatic mob that is digging into lyca.com, but why did you lock the topics regarding it?
I personally couldn't care less that guys email and I wouldn't email to it, but how could it hurt Bungie, is some stupid people decide to spam his email? I mean, there is nothing that could get Bungie in to some deep...trouble. The only ones in trouble in case of a lawsuit are the people that spammed, not Bungie.
Actually, if the topic is left open, it could hurt Bungie. If it's left open, that would insinuate acceptance by Bungie to spam this guys email. and basically bomb his site with hits that mess up his bandwidth allotments or whatever else. You'll notice that High Impact Halo also locked the topic in question.

A topic about a website isn't about spamming the creator's email full of desperate poop. Or is it? Maybe is does somehow engourage some twats to do moronic things, but why let everybody suffer? Because unfortunately we have to apply our resources to the lowest common denominator in cases like this. I feel bad, and it looked like it was a fun distraction, but as it currently stands I cannot let a potentially harmful situation continue. My first loyalty is to keeping Bungie.net safe.
The topic, where the starter at first proofed there was no connection and was then filled with connections, that have odds of once-in-a-lifetime, was great. There was a good spirit and it was more than awesome to dig into those connections and share your findings with the rest of the group. That's what the forum is all about, eh? Yes, and I wouldn't have closed the topic if I saw any other choice, but such is my responsibility. I did, however, leave the topic intact, and I will unlock it if more evidence comes to light. You'll notice I didn't remove the link from the Threads of Interest sticky, because I want to be fair about it.

Is there any hope for that topic getting unlocked or new one getting created or do we have to come up with some waterproof evidence? Any solid evidence and I will unlock it. But I'm afraid that's the best I can do.
From my point of view, the connections collected so far are enough, but you're a more sceptic one? I feel that the connections are tenuous at best, and most likely the product of an overactive imagination, I stated that in the third post in the thread I believe. However, the slight connections are enough to keep it from being deleted, although it will remain locked.

Sorry for my bad English.

Actually, your English was fine. Quite a lot better than many of the people who write me, and English is their native language, go figure.

With your permission, I would like to post this PM and exchange into the thread in question, as it addresses the issues perfectly and would answer a lot of questions.
