Halo: Reach is the beginning of a new age for gaming.
It proves that developers can get away with punishing their players instead of fixing their game....and yet the fanboys will still sing praises to them.
-blam!- all of you fanboys!

I think everyone wants too much change on every aspect of Halo. Too much change may finally put Halo in the grave.
The trick to it is....
Make Halo Mod friendly. That way, noone has any reason to -blam!-. You can make the game whatever you want it to be, within the limits of how "Moddable" the game is.
Unfortunately, this cannot happen with Matchmaking at the reigns of multiplayer.
Halo 4 needs to go to dedicated servers/server browsers.
Bethesda has been setting quite an example as far as moddability goes. The rest of these developers need to step up.
It's the only answer.
A Million different people with a million different opinions on the way a game should be...
How do you cater to that?
I'll tell you how you don't. (Top mistakes made by Bungie)
1. You don't leave it up to a handful of people to try and come up with playlists for the entire community.
2. You don't expect that a handful of people are going to be able keep up with any changes within that community. Such as people getting fed up with certain gametype/map combos within the playlists.
3. You don't punish your community because you're too stupid to realize that putting a bunch of random people together over the internet due to a limited selection of playlists isn't going to work out all the time.
4. A person is alot less likely to quit if they are playing something they prefer to play. If a person is having to vote through crap and more crap and never gets to play what they prefer to play, that person will eventually turn into a quitter at some point.
How long did it take for all you whiners to get the update to Bloom?
Nearly a whole YEAR!
See the problem?
How long did it take for them to remove AL from your favorite Playlists?
See the problem?
