If you are better than your opponent, you are going to win. period. why would the 'better' player expose himself to the potential death that is a spamming kid with a bloom rifle? it is my opinion that the better player would know to back off, potentially tricking his enemy into reloading or chasing. i find that there is more to this game than "HUUR MAI DMR FASTER THEN URS" i love strategizing to win. war doesnt always come down to who has the better aim.
every kid ive found to be "worse than me" at this game, has lost with or without artificial aim enhancement. i found that bloom almost gave me the time to toy with people who i outmatched. I always kept a proper distance, enough to let bloom have its proper effect. paced shots always won me my engagements.
Zero bloom is also fun, its makes the game faster (remember though, speed is a characteristic independent of value or excellence), less forgiving in terms of addressing enemies when they first engage you, and it makes it feel like an older installment of halo. Its good times and fast paced, but not any more "skilled" in my opinion.
I feel your comments about there not being hope for me are rather disingenuous, you know nothing of me save for my screenname and spartan armor. I like both bloom-less and bloom-ful gametypes, have enjoyed competitive halo off and on since the halo 2 came out, and still enjoy them all.
