Waypoint Moderators aren't really Moderators, just power hungry and its goal is defend their beloved Halo at all costs. (Meaning that they wank Halo too much.)

BS Angel is alleged foe so, be wary of Waypoint and its moderators! Do not attempt to move to Waypoint. Enter your own risk.

*WARNING* IT IS MY OPINION.

Both Halopedian and Halo Nation say 341.

mfw

Halopedian or Halo Nation is not CREDIBLE source because of many errors and speculations are present in that sources.

Besides, they're also wrong on "341" number of ships as well. If you have bothered to read FoR more closely, it would certainly say that it was 314 ships, not 341 ships.

Besides, why you have used Halo Nation as source? That are much worse than Halopedian!

For future note: Don't take any arguments seriously if it is sourced from Halopedian or Halo Nation.

they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

This is a no -blam!- moment. How hard is it to believe that They failed? You have 30 odd S-II versus...whats the number at now? 500 Covvie ships? What did you think? 1 elite, half a hunter,2 jackals and 5 grunts per ship? Read First Strike (I'm talking about the old version) Three S-II took out a covvie ship with one nuke. You know what lets put it this way. You and 30 friends vs. lets say 10,000+ people at paint ball battle. Who do you think will win?
341 ships.
Still. 341 with shields, plasma weapons, greater use of slipspace, tens or thousands of Elites, brutes, hunters and so on. I call that a no -blam!- moment that the 30 odd spartans were killed off. I mean really OP? really? stick 30 SEALS against 10,000 marines. who the hell do you think will win?

314 ships of which far more than half of were eliminated in the Battle of Reach. Heck, just about half the Fleet of Particular Justice was wiped out before the Covenant could even really start the battle due to blundering through a mine-field laid out by the UNSC. And then they suffered incredibly heavy losses throughout the battle because of the SMACs. IIRC, by the end they only had between 80-100 ships at most.

Actually, Battle of Reach took out 2/3rd of that fleet and it was staggering 208 ships lost in the battle. It was only 106 ships left at aftermath of Reach. Remember, a large minefield took out 100 ships easily, then MAC volley by UNSC ships and SMACs took down more ships. Then, plasma torpedoes impacted the UNSC ships, taking down 80+ ships down. Remember, any UNSC ship can't survive a direct hit of plasma torpedo. One shot is enough to destroy Frigates and cripple any Marathon cruisers if it is well placed shot.

"I may not be perfect, but always been true."

The Spartans were doing fine until an idiot panicked and decided to carpet bomb the place where most of them were fighting at...that's when all started to go to hell.

I think the part where they had to base jump from a pelican was were the Blam! hit the fan but yes if that had not happened then maybe a few more would have survibed by evacing and being rescued by John 117 during the events of First strike.

There aren't many active spartans II left and they'll all be in their early 40's. With no major war to fight at the moment. Apart from putting down rebellions what do the remainings spartans have to do in the UNSC.

341 ships.

That number of ships is wrong. Correct number of ships are 314 ships. Just correcting you on this matter.
Both Halopedian and Halo Nation say 341.

inb4halopediaisntvaluablesource

And even then, Halopedia and Halo Nation both say 314 ships attacked Reach on the 30th.
Halo Nation
"At least 341 ships"

The article contradicts itself...

The approaching Covenant fleet was first detected in slipspace by Remote Scanning Outpost Fermion. The station's commander, Chief Petty Officer McRobb, sent an emergency message to FLEETCOM and ordered self-destruct to prevent the station's data from falling into enemy hands. A few minutes later 314 Covenant ships exited slipspace at the outskirts of the Epsilon Eridani System.

Elder pretty much covered the rest...
