Dumb question but I need to know. The Halo story in the game has so much detail that it has to be based on something. I cannot believe Bungie wrote a book first and then produced a game with so much story. So where does the Halo story come from? Can I by a book some where. You all probebly know the answer allready, but I don't. Please enlighten me.

Locked away inside of Bungie Studios is a document known as the Halo Bible.

It is the reference that is used any time the story is used, changed, referenced or told.

For example, the authors of the Halo novels spent time going over the Halo Bible as part of the research and preliminary work on their books.

Getting to see or read the Halo Bible is allegedly as difficult as unmasking the Bungie Webmaster.

yeah, but keep in mind, halo has roots WAAAAAYYYYY back. like back to Marathon, Myth, and Oni (bungie games before Halo)

the story has been pretty much completed for some time, except for smaller details, that are always checked across the Halo bible.

And if I am not mistaken, he gets a lot of the material straight from "The Dude" himself, Jason Jones.

True very true and for further info the books are written by William Dietz and Eric Nylund who work very closely with the dude

And who is Jason Jones? Does he work for Bungie? Or did Bungie buy the Halo Bible from Jason Jones.

This apple is brown, and rotten. This orange on the other hand, is in relatively average shape. So the orange is definitely the preferable option.
----------You can't compare apples and oranges. You're so dumb.

Jason jones was one of founders of bungie studios and we now call him the "Dude" or the "Man".
