What I'm getting at, is that the requirements are very biased.. Is it not possible to be "good" at driving? Or "good" at objective? Objective players don't get enough credit..
O_o Rushing the flag over and over doesn't make them a good objective player.

nobody said anything about rushing

OP made their account three days ago.

Also, this thread is pointless. It is logical that a team of bad players will still be bad. A team of good players will likely always win. Originality seems to be foreign on the forums.

@McBlogs: LOL What?
Bird perch = Brig

That is the most polite insult I've got on here so far.

This thread is pointless though. It is a bunch of self-evident statements and does not go on to promote discussion. Even a brigadier can see this.

Opinions are like butholes. Everyone's got one, nobody wants to hear about it.

I disagree with the requirements of being "good"

You're so cool. I hope I can be as cool as you one day.

Thanks for the useless response.

Forget it man, and get with the countdown. Shake this square world and blast off for Kicksville.

Real account.

If you assign every letter of the alphabet a number, a is 1, b is 2, etc., and you take all of the values of the word "MATH", and add them, you get 42. So math is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.

More useless information the void in my head can ponder on for about a minute before moving on.

Nice blog you got there.

Nice awful stats you got there.

Well isn't this funny... Here we have an individual harassing another player for having terrible stats when others cannot view his. This is quite sad indeed.

  • 01.11.2012 5:15 PM PDT

The OP is correct.

Strangely, threads like this are created because bad players run around claiming that good players are only good because they play in teams.

What everyone seems to forget is that we're talking about Reach. It is amusing, almost flat-out entertaining, seeing that people actually take this game seriously in any way, shape, or form.

Anyone who claims the AR takes skill ought to shoot himself in the head. Preferably with the AR because they'll most likely miss with any other weapon.

At first I agreed with you, then I just thought you were full of shi.t.

Even when groups of bad players come together to organize and play matchmaking, they're still bad. "Skill" is nothing more than what you can contribute to the team, and these players are simply skill-less. These groups have been popping up for a while in BTB and you have no reason to even consider yourself a "team".

The most recent example I've seen of this is "The Unyielding Citadel". While the name itself lets you know its players are bad, a group of actually good players would steamroll these guys just like the randoms in matchmaking.

Some good teams are criticized for not practicing enough. The reason we don't have to practice is because we can still annihilate you guys regardless of what you do.

Qualities of a Good Player:
Single Digit Onyx in Arena (other than S8)
500+ Games in MLG with a win percentage better than 70%

Guys its obvious he's trolling, 2 reasons.

1. He just made this account 3 days ago and hasn't even linked his GT. If he really is a "good" player he would have the balls to actually posts his stats. [I bet he doesn't even have any of his "requirements" to be a "good" player.]

2. He takes his OPINION as a fact. Being a "good" player has many meanings instead of good being just skill in getting more kills than deaths or even win/loss ratio. As said before in older posts that people could be a good driver but not as good of a shot and vice versa. So really anybody is a good player just having different skill sets. Anybody is a good player just in different ways than other people.

Sup guys.

Yep, we're all about teamwork. And we win too.

This makes people who are more skilled than us very pissed. Sure, we aren't the best team in Reach, but we do kick a lot of ass.

He's right. We win because we practice unexpected and game changing ways of playing Reach. I prefer Halo 3 when it comes to BTB, but Reach is still great for Invasion, particularly when you get to shove your 6 minute win down some K/D booster's throat.

But yeah, if you're curious, have a good attitude, and value teamwork in BTB or Invasion playlists, be sure to check us out.

Thanks for the spotlight OP. If people like you are complaining, we must be doing it right. Just see for yourself.

Your Opinion on what a good player is based on a gametypes designed for a select group of people whose definition of "good" is based on their own opinion doesnt really irk me to believe that at all, i have my own definition of what a True Halo Experience is..and who is Truly Great at Halo...Have a good day sir.

To everyone who thinks the OP is a trolling idiot:

You are correct.

Stop posting in the thread, this guy is just some alt of a member of 1 of....2 groups I think, who hate our guts for not believing that lolarena is the true testament of skill and halo gameplay, trying to start another group war with us, for some stupid reason.

As for you OP. If you'r going to slander another group, at least have the balls to not use an alt.
