Apologies on McAfee. It used to be good. Removed. I've added Sophos for Mac, as I too use it and find it does the job nicely.
O_O

Wait whats wrong with McAfee? It's on my laptop for internet security.

Delete it Nova, it's actually bad.

I heard so many bad reviews about it, it's not even funny.

I'm not going to be used to having 5 pinned topics, I was always used to 4.

Still a good thread though.

Terrible for protection.
Hell, Ive heard that McAfee actually prohibited a user here from deleting a virus on his/her computer simply because of it was copyrighted. (That doesn't make sense.)
The McAfee firewall is actually a bigger joke than the antivirus. It does nothing. (from my experiences with it.)
If you are going to get a new antivirus, I also recommend you delete and remove McAfee completely. (steps are on their website FYI)

Who the hell do you think I am?

Was this because of my thread in the community?

You're like a slinky. Good for nothing, but you bring a smile to my face when I push you down the stairs.

Here's a suggestion: Anybody with Cena in their name is going to link a site that is either meatspin or some other pornographic site.

We should know better, because we are better.

While this is handy I just wonder why Bungie can't just block all links leading to shock sites. We know some big one, if we were to block linking to those sites it would help.

I concur. Block meatspin and others with the language filter.

You can easily mirror websites on another host, blacklisting all malicious websites would practically be impossible. Someone with malicious intentions wouldn't be as easily stopped by blocking some major malicious websites.

Life is like a clogged toilet. It's full of crap until you do something about it.

I don't speak Karate!

Duardo, you are a genius.

That is true, but every bit helps. If they blocked some of the big ones it would at least give the person the trouble of finding another shock site. The first time someone tries to link to a shock site their link is broken and the Ninjas can then administer a permaban.

It's not that I'm crazy... It's just that, you're not as far out there as I am.

I have a suggestion: don't click on any link posted by any user with cena or rommel in their username.

As seeing they are two of the leading shock providers.

The sound of iron shocks is stuck in my head, The thunder of the drums dictates
The rhythm of the falls, the number of dead's the rising of the horns, ahead
From the dawn of time to the end of days I will have to run, away
I want to feel the pain and the bitter taste of the blood on my lips, again

Thanks Duardo. I just downloaded ViewThru on Chrome.

Don't use McAfee, after my subscription for it ran out, it completely locked me out, after I installed new security software and ran a scan, it came up with "McAfee: Rogue Security Software" It essentially shut down any ability to connect to the internet in any way. In the end, the only way I got rid of it was by wiping the hard drive.

I already knew most of this, but I really have to thank you for showing me those Chrome extensions for shortened URLs. This will help immensely!

I'm glad to have AVG, but I have the common sense of this. Good for the new people though.

Agreed. All the changes are good and add variety. Do we really want another Halo 3? Just running around with one gun and no armor abilities? It's good that 343 wants to try something new. Do we really want the same thing for three more games?

Thanks for the anti-virus links
