"Jesus saves, everybody else takes damage." some gal's t-shirt

http://DanteDreams.com <- my webcomic

Just read Glasslands, by Karen Travis and 343...

It makes me wonder.. Jorge was an s2..How about the others? Were they Spartan 3s? Or adult augmented Spartan 4s?

They seemed to be kinds old to be Spartan 3s.

Any insight, friends?

Only when no Human brick is left atop another, shall we be satisfied with your destruction.

Other than Jorge they were all S-IIIs. And yes, they were arguably a bit old, but Reach seems to have changed the S III story somewhat.

"I may not be perfect, but always been true."

Noble Team was compromised of 5 Spartan III's and a Spartan II (Jorge) The older of the III's being Carter at age 32.

All of the Spartans of Noble shared one thing, they were withdrawn from their respective companies before Operation: PROMETHEUS and Operation: TORPEDO in the case of Noble Six and Kat, thus outliving their other peers.

Birth date: August 27th, 2520.
Death date: August 30th, 2552 (aged 32).

Died 3 days after his birthday. Well that sucks.

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

Noble Team is made of Spartan III's no doubt about that. Except for Jorge, obviously, the rest of the team are made from Spartan III's from both Alpha(Carter and Emile) and Beta(Six, Kat and Jun).

This explains why some of them are so old.

Jun was from Alpha Company actually.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Carters old because, like with the entire game, Bungie failed. The Spartan-III program began in 2531, making Carter 11 when the program started. They only took, at the earliest 4 and at the latest 7 (which 7 was stretching it). But, Bungie decided to disregard canon with the entire crappy, abysmal campaign so it's no surprise.

  • 01.13.2012 11:52 AM PDT

Waypoint Moderators aren't really Moderators, just power hungry and its goal is defend their beloved Halo at all costs. (Meaning that they wank Halo too much.)

BS Angel is alleged foe so, be wary of Waypoint and its moderators! Do not attempt to move to Waypoint. Enter your own risk.

*WARNING* IT IS MY OPINION.

Sigh, do you have to word it so aggressively?

So, you'd rather leave out a perfectly fine individual who according to Kurt could have been a Spartan II if it wasn't for the fact that he wasn't born when the program started just because he is 11?

Damn it. I knew one of them was from Alpha, but wasn't sure which one. I thought it was Jun but something told me it was Emile... Damn my instincts.

All of them save for Kat/Six are from Alpha, although I'm not sure about Thom and Rosenda since they never told us.

Or they could have spent long periods of time in cryosleap. Just sayin'.

I only have a problem with you expressing your dislike of Reach so aggressively and sometimes insultingly to others.

:( too bad Rosenda wasnt included in reach. She looked so boss with her LMG. And I also wish that there was a bit more info on THOM

Where would this be? Just curious.

About Carter's age, where do they state a max of 7 years old for candidates? Curious about that. and as XD said, cryosleep. Johnson's what, 80 or so in 2552 but does he look it physically?(or have the body, strength, and endurance of an 80 year old man?) nope.

Five exclamations marks are a good signifier of an insane mind. As is trying to hide from Death in an airtight room. Silly wizard.

The children would have to have spent an extremely long amount of time in cryosleep. Implausible but possible.

LOL, insultingly to others? When do I do that? All I do is say my opinion and you have to be a baby about it and cry aggressiveness or some other bullsh1t. Grow up.

This.

Daefaron, he's not alone as well. I hate Reach as well. Storyline broke the canon, it has bad character development, terrible innovations, bad core game mechanics, among thousands of issues. Hell, I would say that Halo 3 or 2 were better than Reach.

Besides, it's matter of opinions. You may argue against it but it will be a moot.

I could see it. Their families moved a lot and they spent lots of time in croysleep. The happen to be near a planet when it is attacked by the covenant and they spend some more time in cryosleep during the evacuation. They are taken to a nearby planet where they are recruited by the SIII project. They spend some more time in cryosleep on the way to Onyx. It could happen.
