ALL HAIL GABEN

.....the more I see myself posting and relaxing in The Community forum. Why is this so?

And has this happened to you yet?

The Community forum exists largely to talk about the website and the community experience. I think it makes sense that, as you participate in those things more, you'd care more about improving them, or at least trying to improve them toward your preferences. Someone who checks in here once a month isn't as likely to care about that stuff. So I think it makes a lot of sense.

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

I've gone in phases. The community will be my 'home forum' so to speak, but it isn't always the one i'm most active in.

  • 01.12.2012 4:33 AM PDT

Who the hell do you think I am?

I've sort of moved over from the flood to here. I just got tired of that place, and while this place is no where near as fast as The Flood, I still love posting here.

  • 01.12.2012 4:35 AM PDT

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

The older folk tend to lurk and be comfortable in a wide-assortment of private groups, not just the Septagon exclusively.

  • 01.12.2012 4:41 AM PDT

I think it's natural that the more time you spend in a place, the more you will begin to care about the community and how it's run.

Claiming you are the alt of a banned account: Priceless.
For everything else, there's stosh.

Agreed I never strafe to far from my Septagon, or a few select private groups. Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional.

In wine there's truth but in silence there's surrender.

The Flood and other public forums are such a bore nowadays. I'd rather discuss more important topics concerning Bungie and its website rather than one line OPs with random topics that just end in "discuss", which inevitably fall off the front page in a matter of seconds.

Yes.

Its because most of the time the community forum is full of old men.. and the odd old woman moaning about little things waiting to get bored of bungie.net and do something else.

:P

I started in this forum a few years ago. It's like a retirement home for bnet. The community forum is where it's at.

Yes sir, couldn't agree more!

I suspect llamas are secretly wizards. I <3 poptarts n' milk. I like me. Grimick is defined as: a logical parodox, the act of funnaling a potato down your throat, and a deliciously flavored muffin (with pecons and blueberries). Norway is the Swedish word for 'moron'. My sister has cancer, so i get to use handicap parking and cut small children in line at Disneyland.

"Don't eat doughnuts on thin ice."

"The pancake, my friend, has officially been flipped."

This is where I came after the flood. And yeah, it's the best forum. It is relaxing and enjoyable.

Without knowing you in any fashion whatsoever, I'd guess it's that you've grown tired of game-related conversation and The Flood just isn't the right fit.

If you're a fan of redundancy, The Community Forum is the place for you!

The Gunman Division: Ace Gunman, xOmega Gunmanx, JT Gunman, xLost Gunmanx, (Op) Lone Gunman, Spade Gunman, Viper Gunman, Ysuran Gunman, BlindfireGunman, Angel, briskit1, dinjitsu2222, and Onobono. No idiots, please!

I've been here for years "relaxing", there is no such thing as being redundant redundant redundant redundant...

If I am not posting, then I am reading what you might have posted.

I just do the same thing I do every day; plan to take over the world!

I seem to be more relaxed and less amped about posting, but when I do see a topic that makes my spine tingle I go and join the fun! Or subject.

Bip Bap Bam in the brainpan!

I mainly came here because I was sick of trolls in the game forums and Flood. I came and never went back. It's a good forum with most, if not all, of the great community members populating it.

Yes, we've got pudding, prune juice, JAG and MASH re-runs. Life doesn't get much better than this. I just wish some of my relatives from the other forums would visit me more often.
