The other day, I was looking at the forum for halo2, and I saw how they had announced it INCREDIBLY early, so that people started making all kinds of suggestions, and eventually, some of them were actually used. There was so much external influence placed on the bungie team that they eventually, probably ended up doing some things they ddin't want to. Compare this to the original halo, which was announced early, without too much hype, and bungie just working on it without lots of pressure. Most people were disappointed by halo2, and most people just loved the original halo, despite the incredibly difficult parts of it, and certain flaws. I think that, to get the best quality out of Halo3, we can make suggestions, but don't put too much pressure on the bungie team to follow them. Bungie is making the game, and they have made tons of amazing games, such as marathon, myth, and oni. They obviously know what they're doing, so i think it would be best if we just let them do their job and make the game without pressuring squad commands, atvs, or other interesting vehicles. After all, after comparing how the making of the original Halo and Halo2 were affected by pressure from fans, it's probably best we don't put too much pressure on them.
What do you think? I'd love to know, but I don't pay attention at all to flames, so you might as well not bother.
