It could be possible to get a planet into slipspace. High Charity isn't as big as a planet, but still pretty big, and it can do it. But the thing above the artifact is not a slipspace rupture, just a strorm. It doesn't have that whitish-blue color, and it too small a hole for an object so large. Kind of like what happened at your mom's place last night.

well it could only just be starting so it would have to get bigger, also this maybe happening all over the world as the earth gets ready to enter slip space

wait are you saying the ark is a propeller or something?

kinda, I think the crystal recovered from Reach could give enough power to Transport the Earth somewhere say when the Halo rings are activated far away from the blast.

I think you may well be right with that cause the crystel made slipspace travels far faster

Ok, a guy on page 3 reminded me of something. If 343 told chief he was the reclaimer, and that there was another before him... ok this gets into some interesting stuff.

Ok, imagine the universe as we know it right? ever expanding with no real sense for how long ago it was really created. All from some kind of big bang theory. Well what if since the original big bang that created all mass in the universe, the Halo rings have gone off. In the Halo storyline they have. The previous reclaimer activated it once. Remember 343's quote: "This installation has a sucessful firing ratio of <astronomical number> simulated, and 1 actual." That means that the Halo was fired at least once.

Now take into consideration that sentient life doesn't need to start as a monkey, or even a bug. Evolutionists tell us that all life evolved from microscopic life forms that evolved into life as we know it today...

Ok so, what we know, is that the Halo Rings have been fired once. All life has been wiped out once. Including Earth. The Arc... take that from the bible. The arc was created to save life during the time of the 40day/40night flood right?

... What do you think is in the arc, left over from the time before the last firing of the Halo Rings?

the ark may activate the remaining rings and it may also create a slip space window ( I think that is the right term for it) and transport the earth and every thing in its atmosphere to another galaxy and that means that both covenent and the humans were right in a way I think.

the forunners may have done the same thing

Great Journey.
Hmm...
Anyway, Ive been thinking about this myself, on a different fourm...

Also, do things get affected by the halos while in slipspace?

Actually, that is not entirely accurate. It is a thoery, a hypothesis which hasn't been proven yet.

I still think the Forerunners saw everything that was going to happen to the MC, not one person has thought about how the Arc just happened to be in the exact place the Prophet blew a huge hole into. i mentioned before Cortana said she knows his future, why not the forrunners too? both the Humans and Covenant need this Arc for salvation from the Flood, what better place to put it than the exact place that gets blown up. I doubt the Humans would do something like that to a whole city, to save themselfs especially when they dont even know what it does.
