-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Posted by: The Yeti
I've been searching for hours now. No luck yet.

I've already exhausted every option for both English and whatever language the original cartoon was in for that entire list of shorts on the Wikipedia page and it's only been an hour and a half. That may even be an incomplete list, because none of the art styles seem to match with the darkness of Clock Man and all the clips I've found don't have anything. (Although a frustrating amount have something to do with "clock," in their title.) Now I see how this has gone on for 28 years.

I've emailed people from Viacom and Nickelodeon. But seeing as its Saturday, I won't get a response 'til Monday.

Alright, I dunno if I wanna look at this.

What is creepier? Clockman, or Slenderman?

Well we really aren't sure yet. This thread has 19 pages and we still don't even have a copy of the clip. Right now, Slenderman is creepier, but if this thread goes viral and becomes a meme, (which it's actually starting to), then it'll be a close run, with lots of creepy pictures.

Dude, this is already turning out to be the real life version of Candle Cove...

Clock Man, I WILL FIND YOU EVENTUALLY!

You won't find me! Muahahahahaha!

I swear... who ever's alt this is good job - but I'm still going to pretend that this is the real Clock Man.

-blam!- YOU!!!!! You can't hide forever. I WILL FACE YOU and I WILL erase you from my memories. More and more people are starting to draw you from their memories. I am not insane. Iam not alone anymore.

The guy from /x/ that has better memories of Clock Man than me, he sounds spot on. His description is exactly like mine - execpt in my memory, Clock Man had a huge black beard.

I cannot prove that I am not trolling. I can only say that I've been on b.net for a very long time, I've tried to be helpful (and sometimes playful) - but I would never joke about this.

Clock Man was a childhood memeory I have kept to myself for many years. I'd bring it up time to time with friends of mine, but nobody seemed to remember him. I was nostaligic the other day, and thought if anyone out there could help. I'm a bit teary eyed that the entire internet would help in this fight after all these years... I want to find him to be vindicated. I want to find him to prove that he was real. I want to find him to prove that I am not a troll. I want to find him to finally erase his menacing fear from my mind - forever.

Can I see a link to that? I don't think you're trolling, just want to see his version of it. And this is REALLY REALLY interesting. If we do not find Clock Man I hope this becomes a Creepypasta and a meme. I WANT PINWHEEL TO BECOME A MEME! That show is nightmare fuel. Look up "The Pinwheel Effect" this is messed up...

This is what the guy on /x/ said

Holy -blam!- I remember this -blam!- short!

It was like claymation with poorly made dolls and the animation was real stuttery and -blam!-. It started with the kid's mom telling him goodnight and closing the door behind her after shutting off the light. Then the door slowly creeks open while a generic eerie wind sound blows and the camera cuts into the kids room at the foot of his bed. He struggles to open his eyes as they slowly droop and he eventually gives in and goes to sleep. Then it cuts up to the clock while the second hand slowly ticks to 12:00. When it hits it there's like a low bell ringing sound and the camera goes back to the foot of the kid's bed. The "Clock Man's" head peeks into the room like the clock were a window. Unlike what the OP's image shows, the Clock Man's head then recedes back and his arms comes out and pushes the clock open like a door, revealing a big dark hole behind the clock. Then Clock Man hops out of the hole and the kid wakes up and stares beady eyed at the Clock Man. Then the Clock Man starts doing like a weird Irish river-dance. Oh, and the Clock Man looks a little different from the picture. He was wearing like an all black turtleneck sweater and a black bowler hat. His skin was green and I don't really remember him having a beard but he did have a big toothy smile and two real big eyes with very tiny pupils.

I don't think I actually watched much after that. But I distinctly remember the Clock Man saying his name was "Benjamin" and he rung an elevator up to the kid's window.

Creepy, the first person to make a clock was named Benjamin Banneker. Link and proof.
From the article:
it only touches on the genius of Benjamin Banneker and the many hats he wore

Wait! He was a BLACK inventor, he invented CLOCKS...CLOCKMAN was a shadow, shadows=BLACK, and he came from a CLOCK. Do I see a connection?

I just asked my dad and he said he saw the video of the opening of Pinwheel. He said that when my cousin was born he watched it with her. So I got my dad to call her and she said that she remembered a tall man in overalls steal things at night in the show. My dad says he watched it with her all the time and doesn't remember that at all. She said it was 1985, as that was when her brother was born so she remembered watching it with her infant brother.

I think I'm on to something...

I'll research some episodes that might have aired on 1985 or around then.

It would be cool. It would be like Candle Cove...BUT REAL! Look up the "The Pinwheel Effect" people remember it but don't know how. In the theme it even says something about "the back-roads of your memory"

I looked up the Pinwheel effect. It was a photo/clip-art editing effect, it had nothing to do with the TV show.
