Are you sure it wasn't a dream or a hallucination or anything? You were sick when you saw it after all.

Are you sure it was Pinwheel?

The beta is super awesome. RogueAssassin27 is now the person who got my Totodile's nickname. Hoo-hah! Relevant.inb4lock

Ugh, weird, reminds of a recurring nightmare-dream I had when I was kid.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

this sounds suspiciously like Pirate's Cove...

Maybe?

Any of the shows mentioned here stick out?

That is Nick at Nite Braden. I do recognize alot of those shows, but Nick at Nite aired old reruns all night (don't they still?).

Pinwheel was a children's show that aired from early morning until about 1pm on Nickelodeon from 1979 to 1990. The cartoon that has Clock Man in it appeared during one of these shows (probably between 1984 and 1987) in the morning hours. Thank you for the input though - I looked through that whole page.

I'll try and give you the exact visual as I remeber it to help. Unfortunately I cannot remember any names - only that Clock Man appeared on Pinwheel...

The scene is a boy going to sleep in his bed. The room is very plain. There is a bed in the center of the scene. There is a window to the left and a clock ticking over the boy's bed where he lay.
The lights go out and the boy turns over and goes to sleep. In the darkness, you watch the boy sleep and at first - all seems normal. The only sound is the ticking of the clock.

After a few seconds, the clock starts to slow down and then stops - on midnight. Then dead silence.

At this moment "Clock Man" climbs creepily out of the clock above the bed and jumps down to the boys right. This wakes the boy and he becomes very scared. Everything is still silent.

Then Clock Man grabs the boy (who screams for help - but nobody hears so he gives up) and Clock Man jumps out the window holding tightly to the scared boy.

Clock Man takes the boy to scary places. As he does the boy settles down a bit, but he keeps asking to go home. Clock Man treats this little boy almost like a toy and pretends not to hear him.

Towards the end of the journey, Clock Man notices that dawn is approaching and (angerly) brings the boy back to his room through the window and leaps back into the clock.

The boys father enters the room only seconds later like nothing happened and the boy seemed like he wanted to tell - but didn't know how. Then the story ends.

It sounds almost like a bad dream you suffered and misinterpreted for reality. Intriguing, nonetheless. I shall help you Santa as I can see you really want to see this one last time.

I'm sure you've seen this but just in case. There's a list of a few of the shorts at the bottom of the page. Perhaps going through the episodes for each short would be helpful? I did that, but without more information... eh. Nothing about clocks that I saw, sorry.

Because there are so many episodes and that there is a possibility that you dreamed this, this may be impossible to find.

Burrito.. Before I posted this thread for help - I searched every single mentioned short on that wiki page as well as some other cartoons not mentioned there and came up with nothing. Thanks though.

Damn it... I know Clock Man was real. I'm absolutely certain he was. I need to find him.

That pinwheel guy is indeed creepy, but not the Clock Man I am looking for.

To further help in the search I seem to remember Clock Man wore a pointy(ish) hat and had a rather bushy beard. Probably won't help much, but even if someone else remembers Clock Man - I'd be happy at this point.

You honestly might want to try 4chan. They're like wizards with this sort of thing. They've tracked down real criminals using just a single posted image by said criminal, I bet they'd be able to help you.

Sorry OP, I can't find anything. I'll gradually search for it though to see if I can find anything. I don't know any shows from the 1980s. I just need a few more clues.

  • 01.12.2012 9:44 PM PDT

I've tried searching for a while and I can't find anything like what you described.

You can buy three DVDs here that have about five hours of material on them. The odds of it being on one is slim, but you never know.

I agree 4chan might not be the best place, but they can find things like it is magic. I have no doubt if they really wanted to they can find what you are asking for OP.

I assumed that'd be the OPs job, it's his mystery. He should just copy/paste all the information he's gathered from this thread into a new thread on /b/.
