OP, could it be possible that Pinwheel wasn't on at that time and that you may have seen the begining or end of a show that came on before or after Pinwheel?

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

To be fair that nutcracker video missed alot of Santas original description, stories about kids getting captured by people/things at night isnt exactly new. Although it was pretty close.

On that note, here is a video that gave me nightmares for weeks when I was a kid, I remember I kept on changing channel because I was -blam!- myself, but curiosity kept me flicking back to it.

Never Mind, I got exicted over nothing. I quit searching. Best of Luck, Santa. I'll still be watching this thread

I believe in Santa. A member this old and respected on The Flood wouldn't troll, at least not on his main account. That being said, this is beginning to feel more and more like a wild goose chase. Unless those E-mails pay off, I think we may not be able to find Clock Man.

"It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me."

Apparently there were a lot of shorts on Pinwheel, and a lot were from other countries.

The first one I found was called Hattytown Tales, though I couldn't find any episode list so I moved on.

The next one I found was called The Magic Roundabout. Commander, did the animation look like this? If so, The Wikipedia page says they had a short called "Alarm Clock."

Also, there was a conductor who was a main character. He obviously carried a watch. pic?

Doubt either are correct but it's worth a shot.

Also, was it 3d or a drawing type thing?

He said it was some sort of claymation/stop action type thing.

After keeping eyes on this thread and seeing the Nutcracker short this is getting really creepy. I'm interested to see if the Clock Man is ever found.

Saw an episode of it on youtube, I think. Doesn't seem like clock man would be on it.

That's not him, but it's a fantastic animation.

Thanks Balista, but I'm starting to get that little kid left alone in a big store feeling. Many people have been saying I am a troll. It's like Clock Man is coming back from my childhood and messing with me again. I don't want people to be mad becasue I am trying to find something - that they do not believe exists. I'm hoping the e-mails will give me a new direction.

Thanks to you too Duardo. I've scoured over lots of Pinwheel/Nickelodeon shorts it's definitely not "Hattytown Tales" - but the animation from "The Magic Roundabout" seems to fit somewhat. Unfortunately, the man pictured is not Clock Man and all of the episodes of "The Magic Roundabout" I've seem thus far - the kids are never by themselves. The boy in his bed at night is most definitely by himself.

This is a short list of some ofwhat I've already been through

- Dusty's Tree house
- First Row Features
- Special Delivery
- What will they think of next?
- Live Wire
- The Third Eye
- Crystal Tipps and Alister
- Flower Stories
- Bod
- Alfie
- Musti
- Peelie and Poolie
- Schnoodle
- Emily
- Video Comic Books
- David the Gnome
- Nickel Flicks
*others

Shows NOT on Nick/Pinwheel include
- Mr. Goodbody
- The New Adventures of Pinocchio* (thought I was close here)
- Willy McBean and his magic Machine
- (Rankin/Bass) "The Daydreamer"
- (Rankin/Bass) "Mad Monster Party"
- Magic Shadows
- Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics
- Read All About it
- The Enchanted World of Danny Kaye
* many,many others

It's been an exhausting (and embarrassing) search so far. I can't give up.

That's the Nutcracker Intro. I was hoping that was going to be it - it's close, but not Clock Man

Not really related to Clock Man, but this is a great example of stop motion, and a very creepy video as well.

"But I do not think we're invincible"

I don't know a lot about Pinwheel or TV from that era, but I think looking into the Quebecois version of the boogeyman - "bonhomme sept-heures" - could potentially be fruitful. His name means "7 o'clock man" which could easily tie him to clocks and such and part of his job description is kidnapping kids at night.

Clockman?

  • 01.15.2012 10:55 PM PDT

I know in the OP that you edited to say that it wasn't Nutcracker or Ebenezer, but maybe you could also do that with Alfie, since people are still suggesting him.

If...no When we find Clock Man I will conduct a poll letting The Flood decide how I should finally "kill" him. Possibilities right now include...
"Guns, Fire, Sledgehammers, Fire Axes, other suggestions are welcomed as well." As mentioned the first to post Clock Man here "may" recieve a rewarding PM from me - but this has been a group effort. Therefore I have asked a close friend to help me make a video of me "killing" Clock Man. It will be uploaded to Youtube as a reward to all who have helped.
Quoting for him to look at it.

Record the disk on to a DVD.

Put the DVD into a box.

Put that box into another box.

Put that box into another box.

Mail the box to yourself.

When it arrives, smash it with a hammer!

OMG i love you for that reference

I seem to go negative more than I go to positive. I still think I will get a 50 on this account, I've been practicing in LAN 1v1s against my sister and been playing Mythic difficulty.

Maybe because this was so long ago, you're confusing a show with what actually happened to you?
