As Nuku said...many of the shorts used are foriegn and un-named. The short where Clock Man appeared wasn't a regular on Pinwheel. I'll make an adjustment to the OP.

Not it either, but may I ask how you found The Trap Door? I'm 25+ hours into manually searching and I haven't come across that show yet - even though it shares many similarities.

I'll check on Room Noodles tonight. I think I've come across something like that 2 days ago. I'll check my notebook.

Unfortunately, it's not Karbonkel either - but I think you have the right idea. It's most likely that the short Clock Man appeared in was not made in America.

That Forge is really cool. I'd like to download that and walk around inside your map. Maybe it'll trigger some memories.
*Also, Although I appreciate the sentiment - nobody should pay to enter a forum for this (or any reason in my opinion). More and more people are getting a chance to hear about this. Somebody out there will know where Clock Man takes the boy once he leaves the room. When we find that out, I believe we'll have enough information to finally track down the elusive Clock Man.

I would strongly suggest not going there. There are many things you may come across that could get you into very real toruble (or so I'm told). We are still missing a massive chunk of info about where Clock Man takes the little boy after the bedroom scene. If we can track down someone who knows that information... we'll have a complete story. Lot's of people are on the regular internet. Somebody HAS to remember the second part.

CAN YOU GIVE US ANY MORE INFORMATION? As Duardo mentioned...do you remember the TV station, the name of the show, or even what year or state/country you were in? ANY tiny detail is going to further narrow the search.

Dammit! Every Single Person that remembers this short cannot remember where Clock Man takes the boy. I've been trying to figure out why that is. Wher eClock Man takes the boy is the other half of this mystery.

Any (credible) information I get from people submitting about the Clock Man short I will put in the OP with the guy from /x/'s description. His discription was spot on. But like the rest of us who saw it, he cannot remember what comes next.

I hope this allows more people to hear about this and the one person (or persons) that remember this short in it's entirety will step forward. I don't want to be known throughout the internet as a troll. It's been a lifelong memory that has haunted me (as well as many others)... And for The Flood - when we find him, it'll be a MASSIVE internet victory.

I agree. That would be awesome... and personally terrifying.

"Clock Man" was not the original name of the short (as far as I know). It's just the name I called the scary thing coming out of the clock. Nuku mentioned earlier that many of the foriegn shorts were not named in the show.

Your post has inspired me to look for the source of where all these shows were coming from. All those shows pooled foriegn shorts from the same place. That place had to have a name. If I can locate the name of that company (service) that offered them, it might be easier to find the short then as it would only list the shorts and not the other stuff from the shows.

This is The Clock-Mans theme song.

For me... This has been my personal theme song while I search for Clock Man. The chorus fits my situation perfectly. I've probably heard Faith No More about 300 times now. "You want it out but you can't have it...It's in your face, but you can't grab it." I imagine Clock Man laughing at my attempts to find him when in reality I've probably skimmed right by him multiple times.

Welcome aboard Taco - and thanks for the help. Be warned though... Many people have already given up. This isn't easy. Finding something that's at least 28 years old with only a partial description has been maddening.
Last night I spent most of my time searching for The Great Space Coaster and Calliope from USA Networks. They used many of the same shorts from Pinwheel. I also ruled out
- Nick's Thanksgiving Extravaganza (although I nosatlgia'd)
- Gigglesnort Hotel
- Aesop's Fables
- Grimm's Fair Tales
- The Little Prince
- Coraline
I also came across an old terrifying tradition in Germany called "Krampus." The name sounded familiar and he kidnapped children. Apparently, he rode around in Santa's sleigh on Christmas (ironic huh?) and while Santa gave out presents to the good kids, Krampus would kidnap and then eat the bad ones. That's an effed up fable right there.
I'm spending tonight looking for...
- The source of all the shorts that were used in Pinwheel, Calliope and The Great Space Coaster
- Translations of "Sand Man" in other languages/cultures. There were other Sand Man submissions, but Sandman comes when you sleep, maybe there was something from back then that translated Clock Man as a demented Sand Man. My Boogie Man search last night was disturbing - but largely fuitless.
