I hope this is an elaborate, very successful troll thread.

Either way, this reminds me of The Masque of the Red Death for some reason. I guess it's the damn clock...

Can't say I was alive at the time you saw this, OP. I'll search for it a bit tomorrow I suppose.

Its not a troll, as said before, Commander Santa is one of the more respected members, as in, not known for trolling

I have just watched every single second of the 3 DVD set sent to my house (Including the bonus episodes of David the Gnome and Today's Special and have still come up empty handed. The video had 5 hours of Pinwheel footage, a msall drop in the bucket of the nearly 1,300 total hours that the show aired between 1979 - 1990.

I've written down all the shorts in order throughout the DVD set - minus all the shorts with real people in them and the regular show bits...

-Chapi Chapo: Chapi and Chapo make a house out of blocks.
-The Magic Roundabout: Dougal the Dog acts out the story of "Don Quixote."
-unamed: Clay worms play with a ball.
-Schnoodle: Schnoodle fishes with his horse.
-unamed: A cartoon elephant plays a baratone.
-unamed: A red haired kid plays with an invisible radio.
-Curious George: Goes to a TV station
-Curious George: Goes to a flower shop
-Paddington Bear: Shops for pajamas.
-unamed: Creepy shadow guy goes fishing.
-Alfie Atkins: Doesn't want to go to bed.
-Bugs: Snail looks for a pretty shell.
-Bugs: Catipillar lives in an apple.
-Charlie in a Tree: Gets German Measles.
-unamed: Baby owl watched too much TV
-Peelie and Poolie: Peelie gets lost in the woods.
-unamed: Stop motion mice race around in windup cars.
-Hattytown Tales: Carrot's Carrot.
-Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings: Helps elephant.
-unamed: Lazy Cricket plays the fiddle/ starves
-Emily: Emily starts an orchestra with friends.
-unamed: cat makes a fake cake/ robs all his friends'food.
-unamed: Beanlike man makes a huge sandwich.
-Schnoodle: Builds a house with his horse.
-unamed: Long catipillar tries to climb a hill.
-Pigglety:Brother Frederick explains what mountains are.
-unamed: Creepy cartoon puppet creates butterflies
-Chapi Chapo: Paint a picture of themselves.
-unamed: An eagle tells other birds he is best.
-unamed: Farmer girl saves a pheasant from a fox.
-Peelie and Poolie: Help a squirrel get nuts fro winter.
-unamed: contruction paper hammer and saw.
-unamed: Mice watch friend clean a bear's house.
-unamed: Long catapillar has difficulties with reflection.
-Bunny in a Suitcase: Helps swimmers with a bully.
-unamed: A penguin goes fishing with a sea elephant.
-unamed: Clay worms ride a ship.
-Peelie and Poolie: Poolie grows a magic pear tree.
-Chapi Chapo: Water a plant with a cloud.

I've emailed the woman who sent me these videos for more information. But at this time, there are no new leads to the Clock Man. I don't know what else I can do.

Aw man. Now ruling out the DVDs (and pretty soon the E-mail), we'll be back to searching. I think we should look for "The Wizard" now.

Maybe the girl's doll's name is Molly?

Does anyone remember the one where the little girl with the giant sunglasses was sitting on this Giant red couch? She would only get off it to do a 30 second speed clean thing. And etc..
Anyone, I've lost sleep over that one.

I think it was the BIG COMFY COUCH. Did she also do the thing with the clock and have a doll friend Molly?

[EDIT]: AND IT WAS SO CLOSE IN TERMS OF THE NAME AND WHERE/WHEN IT AIRED. :(

Generalizations.
Helping idiots hate other idiots since people have existed.

OP, you might want to consider seeing a psychiatrist. Not because your crazy, but because they have some techniques for memory recollection that might be of some assistance to you.

Hear the word of Pharaoh. Build unto me a statue of ridiculous proportion. One billion cubits in height......that I might be remembered for all eternity!

And be quick about it!

Maybe. I'm not sure if that stuff is legit though...

Hmmm been watching this thread for a while (Was around when the /x/ thread was made).

Just made this account to say that it's actually a viable option and shouldn't be illegal since at most the psychologist needs your permission and some forms to be signed.

At one point in time my old therapist suggested using something similar to find the root of a trauma, but I refused since from what I understood it'd mean going into deep hypnosis and experimenting the events again to some degree, which may be a tad traumatic for Santa given that he has been terrified for 28 years of the Clock Man.

Then there's the whole issue of infantile amnesia or whatever it's called in English (Sorry, english isn't my first language). Before a certain age kids' memories don't really carry in your mind as you grow up, hence why most people have no recollection of their first few years except for important events here and there. It's obvious that you remember the clock man itself to some degree, but what if you were too young and your memories about the show or the context of it are nowhere to be found?

It's worth a shot if you have the money Santa, just don't get your hopes too high just in case... Also, a psychologist will do just fine, no need for a psychiatrist unless you do prefer that.

I never thought about hypnosis before, and I am still very close to many of my Psych professor's from college. I'm sure if I ask - they'd be able to connect me to a qulified professional. I'm open to something like that. It wouldn't hurt to ask. Although, oOMr. CheesyOo found almost the exact story from my memory. Reliving the cartoon might get hijm out of my head - but I'm still leaving everyone else who has been searching empty handed. I'll keep that option on the table - but I really want to find Clock Man and share the cartoon with everyone.

Don't fall behind on your work too! I just started my first semester for my Master's and although my work hasn't picked up yet, my mind has been wandering in class. All the guys at my work think I'm nuts too, but they are rooting for us to find Clock Man.

-I think the show with the big chair was called "The Big Comfy Couch" and it came out in the late 80's/early 90's. I came across that one as well.

-"Mr. Wizard's World" was one of my favorite shows as a kid. It is in the same timeframe, but has nothing to do with Clock Man.

Did you email the woman selling the DVDs too? After I watched all the shows today on that DVDs, I emailed her for some help. She responded pretty fast and said that tons of people have been emailing her to see if Clock Man was on any of her recorded shows. She is going to help search around too. She also told me she doubled checked her stuff, but couldn't find anything. She suggested that I take my search to people that collect old cartoons and kid's shows. I thought it was a great idea and am going to spend the next few days trying to track down people that might have this short in their collection.

No man. I'm trying to help, but I haven't done anything more than just typing some word combinations of "Pinwheel" "Clip" "Clock" and "Man" into Bing. (Unless you count the Clock Man .gif, but that really didn't do anything that great for the thread itself.)

I almost want to just jump into a different internet that has this Clockman well documented. I think the Flood has collectively stripped through most of Google's indexed material. I'm not sure if all search engines share a common site index but I'm finding it harder and harder to expand my search.

I think moving off the internet and contacting people who may own physical copies, like you're doing, is the best strategy right now. Did your DVDs contain every Pinwheel episode ever aired?

Did you never get a reply from the former producers of the show and/or the Nickelodeon guys?

- Unfortunately No. The 3 DVDs have about 5 hours of footage on them. Considering that Pinwheel aired for 11 years and has over 3500 total hours of footage, it was a shot in the dark, but it was cheap enough to try. The seller of the episodes has also agreed to help.

- I have located a man that collects extremely rare cartoons. His name is Ron Kurer. He is supposed to be the undisputed world champion of cartoon knowledge and has an absolutely massive private collection of toons and shorts. I was told he can recite thousands of cartoons by memory. I explained our search - linked him this thread and now I am praying he can help. All I can do now is wait for a reply.

I didn't hear back from 2 of the people yet and the other responses were basically "sorry, but good luck on your search." I think I located the Superman of cartoon knowledge, so I hope he can help.

So even in the credits the names of the shorts weren't listed, Santa?

The sound of iron shocks is stuck in my head, The thunder of the drums dictates
The rhythm of the falls, the number of dead's the rising of the horns, ahead
From the dawn of time to the end of days I will have to run, away
I want to feel the pain and the bitter taste of the blood on my lips, again

Also...

The credits were pretty sparse actually. They listed directors (one whom I already emailed) producers, puppeteers, sound/music people and that's pretty much it.

The only mention of the shorts were that "cartoons are from other sources." That was the last thing on the credits for the shows as well.

Now I'm starting to feel like it's more of the prinicple of the thing. I mean think about it:
-It managed a top-forum topic in like 3 days.
-It spread to multiple other forums.
-We've scowered the entire internet almost.
-It's actually for once brought the Flood together for a common objective.

I wanna see that -blam!- cartoon.
