I don't think anyone who has recorded the episode has posted it online, if not, it's buried pretty deep. :(

Cmdr Santa,

I don't think this was a part of pinwheel. The more I think of it, the more I am sure that I have seen it as well. I am associating it with the old Tex Avery cartoons. Back when he was competing with Disney for that genre of cartoon. His stuff would be eventually the Woody Woodpecker/Droopy cartoons.

Anyways, I remember a small child, a toddler in a blue jumper with red trim. He was in a small child's bed. He had was blond with a little upflick on the front of his hair. His head was very large. The animation wasn't like Alfie, it was clean.

The walls were white, but when it got dark turned blue, and there was a yellow window outline signifying light from outside.

The "Clockman" looked like a cross between madhatter, and father-time. He took the boy on a tour of dreamland, with the dreams turning more and more scary as he went. Eventually the boy became scared and laid on his belly and covered his eyes. When he uncovered them he was waking in his bed.

Is this what you are thinking about?

It'd probably be against the rules to post it here, since /x/ is an adult forum, but I will PM it to you.

That sounds very, VERY close Charlie. I'm going to start looking for Tex Avery stuff since Pinwheel is coming to alot of dead ends.

However, if Tex Avery had made this earlier than 1984 - then it is very possible that Pinwheel used it as one of their shorts.

One more thing... I've been searching like mad all over the net and many - MANY adults my age have reported hallucenating as children watching Pinwheel.

WTF was Nickelodeon doing to us all when we were young? Is that why all of us old farts think today's cartoons are crap?

Its not Tex Avery, its the old Max Fleischer/MGM stuff. Its from the 30's - 50's. I bet it was on either before or after pinwheel.

This whole thing gets weirder by the post... Luckily this is the first I've heard of "Pinwheel". Glad I'm a '90's kid.

Agreed. All the changes are good and add variety. Do we really want another Halo 3? Just running around with one gun and no armor abilities? It's good that 343 wants to try something new. Do we really want the same thing for three more games?

Have you ever thought about becoming an artist?

Max Fleischer is certainly effed up enough to come up with Clock Man. I'll search there too. Most of the Tex Avery stuff didn't match the style I am looking for though.

Lol. Thanks. I wish I could do the Clock Man more justice, but I am terrible with paint. Imagine that scene in felt, sort of like a cross between Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer and a 70's version of South Park. Clock Man is not scary enough in my cartoon.

Posted by: Grunt1138 Yes, scoured that site last night. That guy has a ton of info about Pinwheel - but the short I am looking for was one of hundreds (if not thousands?) of shorts Pinwheel threw in from all over the world. He does have a handful of shorts listed (all have been investigated) but I think the one with Clock Man in it was not a regular on the show. He only appeared once. the show ran for 3-5 hours a day from 1979 -1990. 260 episodes were created. Clock Man is hiding in one of those shows.

So we've pretty much ruled out Alfie, although sadly he was our biggest suspect.

I have to go to bed soon, and this kind of isn't the best thread to read right before sleeping. However, I wish luck to any late-night floodians that will continue the quest to bring this shadow man into the light.

I somehow went from searching for this to listening to non-stop nyan cat...

The internet will do that to you. I went from reading stuff about Family Guy on an American Dad site to watching keyboard cat just today...

SANTA-

Take a look at this. It isn't what you asked for, but does the animation match?

I kid you not - I went weight lifting today. I go to a gym deep in the Adirondack mountains in New York. The place was dark and deserted (I have my own key) and snow was falling outside. A thought like yours crossed my mind actually and I kept looking over my shoulder. Clock Man has become an obsession over the last 24 hours for me. I was thinking Maybe Clock Man was the Grim reaper trying to get me in my youth and now that I was thinking of him again...he was coming to claim his prize. Just turned up the volume in my headphones and finished lifting.

Now this is really starting to sound like a creepypasta...

God I hope I don't dream about that clock bastard tonight...

Edit: Actually dreaming about him could be a good thing, might shed some light on this -blam!-...

I think that's who the person is pointing to.

And I can see the resemblance to the OP's drawing.
