No.

Also, protip: If somebody is claiming to be a Bungie Employee and you don't know for sure, chances are they are not a Bungie Employee.

Nope. Just a hacker.
Why is the person a 'hacker?'
Posted by: DragonSilths
Bungie Employees NEVER speak to people in gamechat. Thats how you can tell.
Bungie Employees are people just like you and I. They can go into gamechat all they want- and I've played with enough of them to know they do.

Also on their b.net profile it says bungie employee.Only a very small fraction of Bungie Employees have their Bungie.net profiles say so.

Anyone who has Haunted and isnt an Inheritor is either a bungie employee or a hacker you said yourself he isnt a bungie guy so he there fore must be a hacker.
There are people that have been given it for various reasons.

Bungie said in a podcast it was Lars I believe WE DO NOT LIKE HAVING CONVERSATIONS WITH OTHER PLAYERS. If memory serves me it was do to the fact people would ask them about their next games and b!tch about armor lock.
"I" not "we." People are distinct. And as I said, most don't go into games bragging to be Bungie employees. If they want to play, they will. That would only get in the way.

And 3rd point there is no proof that backs up your idea.... It's common knowledge.
And don't accuse me of making things up please.

HAHAHAHA. No, ArdAtak is no "hacker" he has been around for ages so obviously if he was one he would of banned banned months ago.

First point- name any. Bungie gave out stars, not helmets.

Second Point- moot, neither of you have conclusive prrof either way.

Third point- Even if they lack the gold bar, they still have "Bungie Employee" beside their name.

Unless you have anything to refute, please stop acting superior when you clearly aren't.

Why are you arguing this? I only stated facts. I don't understand why you're being difficult.

I don't have specific names. But Bungie gave out the Haunted Helmet to multiple people, notably for things such as Grant a Wish. The names of a few of them are known around this forum though, so maybe someone else will pop in and name a few.

Second Point- moot, neither of you have conclusive prrof either way.I have personally played with Bungie Employees on numerous occasions. That is the proof I require. That aside, it's common sense that each person can make their own decision, and stupid for you to argue against it.

Third point- Even if they lack the gold bar, they still have "Bungie Employee" beside their name.Completely and utterly false. Also noted by the post I linked.

Again, don't argue with facts. It makes you look silly mate.

Well, mate:
Point 1- if someone can name a player who haunted was given too, then I'll back down, but I seriously doubt it. THough, in the case of "Make a Wish" etc. it's certainly feasible.

Point 2- I'm not arguing it, I'm saying it's a moot point because neither of you are actually able to show us any proof. Obviously it's likely that employees wil talk on occasion, regardless, it's still a moot point, and not worth discussing.

Point 3- I read that post a while ago, and I remember there being discussion of the fact that while it was optional for employess to haave the gold bar, the still had "Bungie Employee" beside their name. However, I'll indulge you by reading the post again, and requesting that you show me any employee who doesn't at least have "Bungie Employee" beside their name, in place of the custom title.

EDIT- Re-read thread, a mythic stated that there were employees who lacked even the title. That's not what I'd actually call confirmation, but if that's what you were going off, then we'll leave it at that, unless Achronos, or someone else, wants to come in with direct confirmation.

People have gotten haunted from their visit to Bungie from the make a wish foundation so not all non bungie employees, non inheritor players, with haunted are hackers.

More support there then, so I'll back off. Regardless, burrito, it'd be nice if you actually offered some proof when telling people not to argue with facts, rather than just stating stuff and expecting people to believe you.

Ardattack was given haunted because he knows bungie employees and I know him personally. Same thing with Optimus Prime good buddies with some of the members.

Fine. Here you go.

Point 2- I'm not arguing it, I'm saying it's a moot point because neither of you are actually able to show us any proof. Obviously it's likely that employees wil talk on occasion, regardless, it's still a moot point, and not worth discussing.the hell am I supposed to do? go play with a Bungie Employee and take a screencap with my phone of the chat bubble?

I'm talking common sense and first hand experience. What the kid said is wrong, plain and simple. Some Bungie Employees don't go into gamechat and some have it set to friends only. Some don't. It's common sense.
:/

Point 3- I read that post a while ago, and I remember there being discussion of the fact that while it was optional for employess to haave the gold bar, the still had "Bungie Employee" beside their name. I can't 'show you' Bungie Employees that don't have the title because THEY DON'T HAVE THE TITLE. What- do you think that there are only about 10 Bungie Employees that have ever visited this website? Of course not. But they aren't given the title because things they say would be taken as official responses which they are not trained for. We've discussed this in threads asking about Jerome before. And no, I'm not about to go searching for them for you. See Achronos' post for more information.

And not 'calling it a confirmation' that a Mythic says something? Um... I'm also dumbfounded as to why you would think I'm implying that that is confirmation of any kind. We're certainly not Bungie Employees. We've just been here a while.

Long enough, I might add, to know silly facts such as these. For the record.

Edit: Ooo. Halcylon. He didn't have his title or gold text until a couple weeks ago when he chose to get it (with Achronos' permission). So... there's one if it pleases you.

There were a lot of claims being made in this thread with very little backup sources on both sides, so let's just calm down everyone. Burrito is right though. There's no way physically prove if the person in question is in fact a Bungie employee. Nor does it really matter.

There have been a number of circumstances that I read about those that didn't reach Inheritor and got Haunted. Who gives a -blam!-? They have it for their own reasons, or they got it the not-so-happy way and they will get what's coming to them when the time comes.

But until then, who cares?

no i do not believe he is

Good character is not formed in a week or a month. It is created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good character.

No he is not a Bungie employee, but he/she may have received the helmet from Make a Wish Foundation or other ways, this would not be the first time this forum accused someone of being a hacker for having that helmet but to turn out they were wrong.

Very low level employee at most.

Be way to embarassing as an employee to return to play reach.
The guilt of returning to your worst work ... too much.

Not one at all. The person even says that in a random post in his post history, on page 1.

Again, I don't just make things up when I say them.
