ISP: Virgin Media

When i began playing Reach my U.B. was perfect/full.
Now it reads WARNING

Is there any way to increase my U.B?
If so, please could someone explain how? and before anyone suggests it... NO i will not change my ISP

Hm, you say it used to be fine but then slowly got worse? How long of a period did this happen over?

it suddenly dropped to WARNING after about 3/4 days of playing the game. that would have been about 2 and a half months ago

Well, I thought maybe you were having the same issue I was but I don't think you are. Do you have any smart phones in the house? A lot of times your router needs to be configured if you introduce new technology that requires an internet connection into your home otherwise it will distribute the connection amongst your phones or computers or whatever un-evenly which will often make whatever uses the most internet fairly slow.

Nope sadly all i have is my laptop of which has always been running since the first Reach play

Still, they may be interfering with each other. You may wanna look into your router's settings and see if you can find anything out of the ordinary. Other then that, Xbox.com and B-net both have instructions on how to enhance your connection speed.

Maybe you've become part of a zombie bot-net.

Your Upstream Bandiwdth rating isn't based on current connections, it's based on a total over-time collection of data. Don't worry about it, most people have it as "warning". It really doesn't mean anything.
