I'm glad SOPA is done away with now.

SOPA isn't dead, yet
It's only been silenced until further noticed, as far as I know from DeviantART.

But I'm glad Bungie has a right mind to stand against this stupid bill.

If this bill did somehow pass, then the 2012 myth would come true.

Stand Together: The Gaming Community vs SOPA and PIPA

Ask your favorite gaming websites and youtube channel to join the cause by not attending and covering E3 this year until the ESA changes their stance on SOPA and PIPA! If they truly apposed this legislation the last thing they want to do is support an entity that spent $190,000 on PIPA lobbying.

I who walk alone in this world wrapped in the arms of the past not knowing what lies ahead of me. What am I? A soulless being to be beaten by the rage of those who hate me? Cutting my way past hopes and dreams. Sit in the window sill as I do every day and night resignations on my slate of who I am and what is left behind. Concealed in the words that chases my every thought. I who walk alone in this world…I am broken

I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.

This is pretty cool.
Fixed. Also, google is still usable.
Doesn't matter. Attention is being called to it.
Well, I guess as long is it's serving a purpose....
It's better this way as every time someone uses google, they see it.

Also, it wouldn't be a wise business move to direct traffic to another search engine while you are down.

I agree, my local radio station finally bought up SOPA because of what google did.

The Arab Spring showed people the true power of the internet and ushered in a new way of protesting. Google is probably if not the Top search engine.

Just think, every time someone uses it, they see the blacked out banner. Once clicked they find out what these idiots in congress are attempting. Ideally if enough people speak loud enough, this thing will die.....

....Oh wait, this is still a similar congress that passed the health care law that NOBODY wanted...I guess the little guys are screwed in this. Just goes to show you, if you have enough money, you can buy the world.

Bungie...Please can I pull the lever to the Gigantic Catapult?

P.S. Congress has another thing coming if they think they can bully the cyber world.

I <3 you too Bungie

Under SOPA you would get 5 years for uploading a Michael Jackson video. That's 1 year more than the guy who killed him.

How can people say that, Michael killed himself a long time ago.

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

Fingers crossed that people are now aware of SOPA due to the blackouts.

It would have even more effective if Facebook and Twitter put information out on their front page.

Everything is proceeding as I have forseen.

no way will will SOPA be passed, too much protesting against it.
i love bungie, they dont care about politics until it affects them and what they do, then they fight to the bitter end for what they believe in.

Swag punks, fuck off!

I am dissapointed with Bungie's decision, and that picture is hilarious.

Am i the only one who thinks this bill needs to have much clearer wording? Also, as some of us have seen, the Senate/Congress seem to not understand exactly what the effects of this bill are?

but from what i've seen, this bill was drafted because companies didn't want to spend money to make a better service(and the Chinese Government would not remove pirate sites from servers in their country).
