Sadly unless companies such as Google, Facebook and YouTube go down to stop the bill, it will probably pass :(

They are against it. Google, Facebook, Twitter and Yahoo etc are against it. Plus Youtube is Google

@Geegs30

Great to see another company speaking out against this bill.

Webteam, how about on the 18th, when other sites are expressing their dislike for SOPA, you do the same and change everyone's avatar to either a censor bar or something else anti-SOPA?

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

Bravo.

Nothing will ever stop piracy, SOPA at least attempts to stop it at a foreign level. Something which current legislation can not.

As a company who is undoubtedly directly affected by piracy, and who works hard to make the very type of content that people would pirate, why are you against this? To me, that makes no sense.
You seem a little uninformed. SOPA sounds like it will just stop piracy, but it wont. It wont stop piracy. All it will do is cripple the internet and negatively affect us all. It will hurt Bnet too, thats why they are against it.

And will fail. Pirates always win in this war. The true problem is to get it done but not to affect others.

"They're definitely heroes," he said of Noble Six's unit. "This will be about honor and sacrifice. And you still kick a ton of ass, you still blow a lot of stuff up." -urk

I intend to live forever, or die trying.

Bungie on this day you have made me so very happy for taking this stance against oppression and chosen to defend our freedoms by speaking out against this evil SOPA bill!

This is great.

I know this has been suggested before, but I think the popular sites/companies that are against SOPA should coordinate with each other with some kind of temporary service blackout. Take down their sites for a an hour or two, post a statement on the bill, and really shine a spotlight on it.

Hell, just imagine Facebook, YouTube, and Google all going down at once: it would destroy apathy toward this bill.
