This apple is brown, and rotten. This orange on the other hand, is in relatively average shape. So the orange is definitely the preferable option.
----------You can't compare apples and oranges. You're so dumb.

I hate this crap here's an idea if you havn't been theorizing on halos plot for more then a year don't talk like you know what your talkign about more then a hand full of times bungie ahs said teh ahlo novels are completely canon. Meaning there an offical part of the halo story. You can say what ever you want but again your wrong and your just being an ignorant idiot makign a fool of him self.

For all of those who say any of the following;
1) Master Chief is communicating with other Spartans via the hud lights.
2) There are many more Spartans
3) That is not Cortana - It is Dr. Hasley
(or) anything of the sort relating to the books... YOU ARE WRONG!

Bungie themselves said the book has LIMITED to NO connection to our Halo franchise. The books are independently made to extend the minds of readers, NOT to connect to the actual games. STOP OVERLOOKING THE TRAILER. STOP SPECULATING THAT FAR INTO IT! JUST WAIT TILL MORE UPDATES. EVERYONE IS OVER THINKING THIS!

Joe Staten: I did my best to be take the books into account as I wrote, and there are definitely common themes and characters. The opposite is true as well: Eric Nylund and I spoke often as he gathered is thoughts for the third Halo novel, "First Strike.

yes, that proves what im saying. THE BOOKS ARE BASED ON THE GAME, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. There obviously is a limited connection via places, time, characters, but bungie would probably not be inclined to include things that have so far been only mentioned from the book into the games. The games are 3rd party, not bungie's making. Therefore, we can almost conclude that bungie would not use this information in their games.

I could not agree with you more!

I like how you created another Bungie account just so you could compliment yourself in forum discussions.

Lol, I noticed that too...it's pretty pathetic.

without the books i woudn't care much about halo. Halo was already made Bungie already knows what is going to happen ok the books are an inside into things that could not be made into games or that in the near future could become a game because u don't seriously think that nothing happen before H1 CE and H2 right I mean MC destroyed a whole Covenant Armada and the covenants were just going to chill there like nothing happened of course not that's why we have The First Strike and also if u want to know about the Spartan II project u have to read The Fall of Reach not only coz they are really good but also because they give u an inside into a battle with u will never see in the Game the Spartan II against the Armada that Strike Planet Reach which was one of the humans most advance planet military wise right there is were the Spartan program takes place read the books man coz they are awesome hope they can bring out a new book before H3. FINISH THE FIGHT MC

Caputofish -- Are you man enough?

you can not say im ignorant. and yeah no -blam!- the book is related to halo, because it came out AFTER the game. Bungie isn't basing Halo 3 off of the books, because the game will be made before the new one comes out, just like halo ce and 2. The plot of the game is indirectly related to the books; meaning that bungie cannot make connections with the books in their games because THE BOOKS COME AFTER THE GAME.

Caputofish -- Are you man enough?

and im also saying it is fine to try to make these connections with our theories, however limit it to possibilites, don't overcomplicate it. Bungie confirmed it was cortana so the theory it is dr. hasley is out. if you notice the two lightning spots in the storm, those are the exact spots were it is in chiefs helmet. BE LOGICAL. Don't dig a whole you cannot get out of.

Excet for the small factor that they were both (Game and book) created from the Halo Bible
