You traitor.
Why do you maintain this account if you hate the Halo series? It shows a warrior's devotion, and also how Noble Team continued on to an unknown objective. In the end, it showed how Noble Team died so that Master Chief may live to fight another day.
Despite it all being fiction and not having happened yet (take a look at the date if you have never had the time I have), it shows the end of the beginning- the Pillar of Autumn's escape to Installation 4A, the beginning of the tide being turned against the Covenant, and the beginning of the cracks that culminated in the Great Schism- the breakaway of the Sangheili, and the turning of the tide against the Covenant juggernaut that had so far won in space, while the UNSC only won on the ground.
May you suffer the death of "King" Alcas in Taylor Anderson's Destroyermen series (adapted for this day and place):
First, drink a cup of poisoned beer in a Texas roadhouse, and have a redneck beat you over the head with a guitar, causing massive cranial trauma.
Then, be tied to a tree in the South American jungle, and Sergeant Forge's knife, Lucy, slit your abdomen open and your entrails draped over a tree.
Then, after baking in the sun all day, the mosquitoes and other bugs swarming your insides, the night predators come, attracted by the scent...
Traitor? That would go to Bungie with the huge middle finger they gave to the Halo fans as they walked out the door.
10 years of a story we all knew and loved.
Then they go and give us Noble Team and stretch out the battle of Reach to a month.
Reach is where the Covenant flexed their muscles and kicked our a$$es on our most heavily guarded world in just one day.
I can respect Bungie for trying to change things up with AA and everything, but what they did to Reach is unforgivable because they knew exactly what they were doing.
10 years of Halo fans knowing what Reach was and then doing this to us. Those are the real traitors.
