The Guide to Stay on Top of All Conquerors

What is a Conqueror?

A conqueror is a person that joins your group and becomes active, gains your trust and once they have the power to promte they will promte themselves and then kick you out of the group and eventually delete it.

How do i know who is a conqueror and who isnt?

There arent really any sure signs that the person is a conqueror because they have many accounts and many different personalitys but most of them join and are immediatley really active and try to get promoted instantly, some may even ask for the promotions. Also, they will ask you if there is anything that you need help with or if you need any work done. They also will ask if you have elections in your group what rank they must be to get in the elections and what powers the council members get. Some newer members may act like this to so just wait a long time and if their a conqueror they will leave because they dont like to waste their time so if it takes more then a couple months they will be like oh screw it.

So if i dont give people full control does that mean they cant take over my group?

No, they still can, if they have security role editing powers, permission to accept or reject members, blacklisting and the ability to kick members. Watch who you give those powers to because if they fall in to the wrong hands your group will fall in to a dark abyss called the receycling bin.

Do you have any recomandations on how to keep my group safe from these dangers?

Yes, here is what you should do:

* Give no one these powers or only to a few loyal members with a clean history:Modify Group Settings,Edit Security,Full Control, Approve Members, Kick Members,Blacklist Members, Delete Posts, Delete Resource Data.

* Dont give your password or email adress to anyone!

* Keep your number of moderators from 1-10 max.

* Keep a closed group so that you can see who is joining before you let them in.

* Dont promote people that ask you for promotions

Are there any Specific People i should watch out for?

Yes there are and here is a list:

List remove as to not break forum rules.

A guide to common sense would have been equally useful.
