Halo: Reach is the beginning of a new age for gaming.
It proves that developers can get away with punishing their players instead of fixing their game....and yet the fanboys will still sing praises to them.
-blam!- all of you fanboys!
Spawn killing is obviously imbalance because 90% of the time once it is attained the effort required to hold it is nil.
In fact, the effort required to break it, is 1000000x more difficult than it is for the team to hold it in most cases.
Don't -blam!- lie, you know it's the truth.
Spawn killing/camping (pointless technicality) is pretty much cruise control. If I'm spawn camping/killing, I'm probably yawning due to the absolute lack of challenge that is being posed by the opposing team.
Jetpack won't necessarily break a spawn camp. But it will make it harder and take longer for the initial setup of the spawn camp, if not avoid it altogether.
Why don't you people just forge yourself a map, put a spawn just for you right on top of the highest area you can find, give yourself some rockets, spawn everyone else in a barrel and leave what makes a real game to the smart people.
Because most of what I read from you people. leads exactly to that scenario.
But take that same scenario and give all those people in the barrel a jetpack and what happens? oh man, the game is suddenly balanced. You're no longer king of the world with your rocket up on your hill are you?
