No, the Xbox 360 was released in 2005, bringing in the next generation of consoles. If you can't afford the 400 dollars, simply put, don't get halo 3. Xbox is far too old for games at the calibur of Halo 3 to be even proposed to be released on it. It would be like Nintendo deciding they want to make a new game for the N64. First off, the mod Recon will be on your case for the use of the little n-word. Secondly, I see the point of a lot of people who would want it on standard Xbox, its just that I feel like there's nothing Bungie or Microsoft should do to accomodate them, its a business.
Halo 3 would undeniably be better on the 360 and if that's what Bungie wants to do, they should be allowed to without making accomodations for those still using Xbox. Plus, for a good time Microsoft envisioned the next Halo game as its "flagship" title for 360. Not initially no, but predicted it as being the ONE game that sells 360's overall. And it will...oh how it will.
