Being an avid fan of multi team, there are many 1v1 encounters which result in the other player sprinting in for a melee. now before the TU they could AR their little hearts out and melee and id only lose my shield. but after the TU, it takes 6 AR shots and a melee to kill a person with full health and full shield. 6 AR shots. thats holding down a trigger for less than half a second then meleeing and winning the kill.
Playing the game since its release, i still find it almost impossible to use that kind of tactic to earn a kill. We spawn with weapons and i use weapons to earn kills. My question is not for the casual gamers that im sure whined endlessly on these forums to get bleed through into the game, but its aimed at reach players that actually know the mechanics of this FPS and probably geared more towards those to play in playlists where the melee bleed through is a dominate factor(like multi team). and my question to you guys who play this game as much as i do is what are your feelings on bleed through? do you exploit it to get faster kills? do you avoid melee kills at all costs unless guests are exploiting it?
On a side note, does anyone else rage at the lag involved in any playlist where a faster reaction time is no longer rewarded with a kill but instead becomes a trade with both players dying? simple examples that ive noticed when i look back at games include sniping someone in the head, and that player is able to stay alive 5 more frames, and shoot 2 AR shots after he should of died. or in swat when you kill someone and the animation starts but there are enough frames for them to shoot after youve already earned the headshot for their kill and they kill you. and finally using evade against someone who uses sword. they can be more than 5m away from me, and i will evade backwards, be 10 frames away from finishing my evade animation, then with their slow reaction time, they will press melee and because of the disgusting lag, they dont lunge at me but they still earn my kill from over 15m away. Does anyone else feel cheated by things like that? or have their own situations where its apparent you have a faster reaction time but still died when you shouldn't have?
tl;dr read it(:
