It's funny that 99% of the time I have seen the word 'adapt' in this forum in the last year and a half, it has been by someone HATING on Reach. First it was posts of 'oh all they ever say is to adapt it's stupid' even though I rarely if ever saw posts that seriously said that, now they say it themselves.
-blam!- hypocrites are hilarious.
:)
You fail to even know why we do it.
I'll explain it for you.
For a year and a half, people that disliked settings in Reach were told to "adapt" to them.
Now, a year and a half and TU later, those same users that would cry out "adapt" are now complaining about the TU.
The players that for a year and a half had to endure the retarded "adapt" argument now use it against said retards in hope they realize how retarded they were acting.
The End.
Heh, I find an ironic thing in all of this. You can't possibly argue that Reach wasn't dumbed down for the general population, so with this in mind, why do you think this was done?
Of course, because people complained back when Halo 3 was still alive.
So in short, the people that disliked Halo 3, complained, and in their own way, affected the creation of Reach. When the population of people that preffered the past Halo's competitiveness complained, they where all met with shouts of "Adapt!!11!1!"
The irony is, the ones shouting adapt were likely complaining about Halo 3. So the one's that couldn't adapt to Halo 3 complained and got Reach as a consolation prize. Then streamed out adapt at any complainers.
Ah, irony, tis a funny thing.
