Subject: Whenever we enter Bungie.net....

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

Not a chance, man. As great as that is, it would begin to piss me off after the third time or so of logging into bungie.net.

Perhaps 'Friday' by Rebecca Black would prove a better choice?

No. Comments made by some awesome dude at you. Or someone saying the new comment on the title.

Or random Bungie employees making stuppid comments

This song.

  • 01.16.2012 4:48 PM PDT

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I think if anything, it has to be dubstep, maybe a wub wub when you enter the site..

The best music is made on a south American skin Flute

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

If music played when I entered the site...I'd probably immediately click "x" and forget about Bungie, these boards, and this community.

That is how much I hate it when websites force you into anything, especially listening music. It could be my absolute favorite song in the world, and I'd still shun the site out of principle.

I would like the option to run a loop on and off.

  • 01.16.2012 4:53 PM PDT

That is a big no for me.

Puts a song on that forces the volume on your computer and everywhere to max, and plays it. Even if you have no speakers it will find a way to play it. So that the whole world would know you are on Bungie.net

Really though? Would you? A website, which I assume, you've devoted a large portion of your life to, and you'd leave it simply because of music playing once you entered the site. There is always a 'mute' option, Cam.

Adding a mute option would just be annoying.

These are easy steps to follow:

- Turn on PC
- Turn off sound
- Enter Bungie.net
- Mute music
- Turn on sound
- Enjoy bungie.net

Problem solved.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

I don't think any music should be played when we log onto Bungie.net. Maybe Marty could come up with something cool, but I wouldn't like anything else.

Adding a mute option would just be annoying.

And if you are listening to music, and on youtube, at the same time.

All you would need to do is embed the song in the HTML code and store it somewhere. It would be cool if it was stored on our browsers so it doesn't lag Bungie.net.

Dag, things just got serious, now.

Well, anyway, I mostly agree with evilcam. I would hate it if Bungie.net really did that.

The Risk Is Worth The Reward.
Cry Havoc And Let Slip The Dogs Of War.

Something like this?

Yep, that would do it for me. I remember when websites did that en masse. It was BEYOND annoying. I'd have to shun this site and community that I love, as I said, out of principle. I think its that annoying.

Plain and simple is what made this site amazing, adding to it anything fancy just makes it annoying. Although may like some refinement or new little features, that make the site a little smoother

What if the site said: "Welcome back evilcam, how are you doing today?"
And then played like a little start up music, just to get you in the mood.

I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.

I can't listen to any of these right now because I'm in class right now, but I am sure they are all awesome.
