How to say this nicely...
What you are saying...Is wrong.
The decline wasn't because of armour lock, And it sure as hell wasn't because of MW3.
It was a mixture, as one person said already. Bungie tried to hard to draw everyone in, and when the money hungry microsoft demanded them to make halo come out sooner, they had to quickly assemble the game. They couldn't tune it to the likes of everyone.
People just see reach as Bungie sticking it's middle finger in our faces, but you all forget, they signed a contract for a certain amount of Halo games to be made. After Halo one launched with the Xbox, people loved it and started to convert to consoles for FPS, Microsoft could just feel all the anxious people wanting another Halo, and not wanting to lose the popularity of the game, made it ship earlier then intended(even though it got delayed), same with halo 3. By the time ODST was being made, Bungie had enough, they were going to release the games and be done with microsoft.
And now we are at the present, People are complaining on bungie forums, complaining about a game whose forum they are on, instead of playing other game or going to 343.
Well hope you read all that, if not, well then to bad for me.
