Subject: Security Issues At Bungie in Bellevue.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

Has anyone ever tried breaking in via the air vents?

How better to steal things from a video game studio?

I heard the air ducts are suction cup proof, magnet proof, and stab proof.

Cortana 5 is a carbon-based lifeform that frequently visits these forums, currently residing in the United States. Practically every male on the site responds to her posts.

The Joyeuse IP Formula

It's always nearby. As for the air vents, you'd need the most insane ladder of all time to reach them.

I've been there, and there aren't a lot of infiltration options. Not like you'd want to try after seeing Jerome.

Does he carry a grav hammer with him.

My Best Bungie moment: finally beating all the Halo games on solo legendary.
My Worst Bungie moment: not seeing giant stuffie grunts in the Bungie store.

But are they crowbar proof?

How real is that hammer anyway? I mean, what's it made out of and is it hollow?

Jerome

Someone should offer to get hit in the head by it, and then report the findings back to us.

The tide is turning, brothers! Let us take our kingdom back!

I wouldn't dare try to break into Bungie, lest I be banhammered and chokeslammed by Jerome.

  • 01.16.2012 11:10 PM PDT

There's a word for what I am, but I can't pronounce it.

BFA, CCS - olde and bony & one minute musings.

Sniper rifles in the streets, a severed dog's head in a jar, the company website maintained by an alcoholic in a gorilla suit... and you're worried about their safety? Well, okay. Fair enough.

It was shared early on in the latest vidoc that the Chicago HQ of olde had a few break ins, but with modern security tech I'd wager Bungie is a bigger threat to society than society is to it.

It was once said that a million monkeys at a million keyboards could reproduce the works of shakespeare... Now thanks to the internet we know that this is not true

No programmer can pick up a TV remote without thinking what it would take to add a stun gun. [...] Their motto is 'if it ain't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet

In reality breaking in would be easy for someone who had actual field training, think NSA field agent. They could easily scope the place and find a way in.

Thing is. all of the people with those kind of skills have alot better things to be doing

Jerome.
All that needs to be said.
Jerome? Who or what is a Jerome?

Their security guard.
He's known to break faces.

And wrestle bears.

I still need to visit Bungie at some point. I live 20 minutes away, I really have no excuse.

Nothing is crowbar proof.

Haha. I thought it was inexcusable of me, being four hours away and visiting cousins that're about as close as you. I wonder if they'd kick you out, if you just hung out in the lobby.

[*Please note that anything in my posts is likely to be filled with sarcasm, and should be taken with a pinch of salt. I tend to help people, usually*]

I had to loiter once outside the front door, waiting for someone to let myself and my fiancée inside (we were expected).

The reception/security desk is directly behind the doors, and I watched as the security guard's hand slowly reached for the grav-hammer the whole 10 minutes we had to wait. It was the most intensely terrifying thing I had to endure.

Thankfully, it wasn't Jerome, but was scary nonetheless.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

You know they probably have tons of people outside their doors everyday.

None, I'm sure. I think the next most famous would be the guard from pawn stars, but not nearly as famous as Jerome.

What other security guard has that kind of fan base?

Paul Blart?
