MLG Halo might disappear if H4 doesn't contain truly competitive elements

Halo: Reach is the beginning of a new age for gaming.
It proves that developers can get away with punishing their players instead of fixing their game....and yet the fanboys will still sing praises to them.

-blam!- all of you fanboys!

IF anything, the right path for gaming is to ensure that "Casual" players become worthy opponents to play against.

fkn lol. "LETS MAKE THE FOOTBALL FIELD 20 YARDS LONG AND GIVE THE AWFUL TEAM THE OPTION TO TWO HAND TOUCH INSTEAD OF TACKLE"

Basically what you just said.

That's not what I said..

But since you bring it up....

When you were first introduced to football in jr.high. Did you play on a 100 yard football field?
Did you play tackle rules or did you play with the velcro flags?

Ok, now imagine putting a proffesional football team against an elementary football team.
What field are you going to play on and what settings?

Basically, casual players are like little school children. Treat them as such.

As for this forum. You people are special ed.

And no matter what else you might say in response.
There is only this.

If it can be beneficial to a casual player. It is probably more so for a competitive player.

Nope. SouthPole isn't a person. He's the avatar of the force of tryhards everywhere. He stalks the web looking for retards to set straight. He can not be stopped by mere bans or thread locks for he shall rise anew.

Probably most people (kids; many reach players are young)are brainwashed with Liberal theories that make loosing ok and if you had fun, thats ok. Seems a little radical, but most likely true.

Everybody loves the perfect solution
To beat the odds against the poorest possible substitution
What you see is never what you're gonna get
Everybody's playing revolution roulette

They aren't disappearing. They are just going to real competitive gaming mediums, like Starcraft, or League of Legends.
Going to LoL? I don't think so. A lot of competitive players have moved on and away to other games, some even remained and decided to attempt becoming ranked in a different way amongst their peers , such as attempting to become a known name in the community, and how many people know them for what, and their skill. Pretty much all you can do.

Think it through for a second 360.
You'll see I'm right.

Bloom hurts solo players more than it hurts team players.
Competitive players are team players.
Casual player usually play by themselves.

Casual players don't have the organization and communication that competitive players possess.

If bloom becomes a toss up in a 1v1.
The competitive players make it 2v1 instead.

No wait. strike that. The competitive players -blam!- about it because they can't run around by themselves anymore, even though they have all the tools necessary defeat bloom. But insist on wanting to be able to run around by themselves instead. And would prefer the game without bloom, just so they can run around by themselves instead.

Competitive players are -blam!- retarded. And it's the competitive half that has ruined this game. The entire game WAS CATERED TO THE COMPETITIVE community. And they are too stupid to realize it and refuse to take the blame for it.

Quit bans...that's a competitive thing.
Bloom, benefits the competitive community.
Armor Abilities are even more beneficial to you than they are to the competitive community.

Such as Armor Lock.
If someoen compeitive goes into armor lock, he has teammates that come to back him up before it runs out.

If someone casual goes into Armor Lock. NOBODY comes to bail him out.

So think -blam!- through.

And you should come to the realization that this game was entirely catered to the compeitive community.

It's time for you -blam!-s to man up and take responsiblity for your -blam!-hole competitive ideas.

edit:
Armor abilites are even more beneficial to Competitive players than they are to casual players.

Bigger edit, and the whole point of why this game sucks:

Matchmaking, making casuals eat from the same pile of -blam!- as the competitive players for 10 years.

Casuals (Majority) are like
"I'm sick of eating -blam!-, I quit."

Competitives (Minority) are like,
"I'd like some more -blam!- please! Whoa, he doesn't like eating the same -blam!- as I do, you should make him starve"

Even though this is a programming language world in which people don't have to -blam!- go hungry. In reality (which is actually the game world) You can program it to cater to EVERY -blam!- PERSON INDIVIDUALLY!

That's the problem. They're too powerful when you used to their full potential when none of the maps are made to account for that.

That's why we want them removed.

Competitive gaming doesn't appeal much to me anymore. I have played FPS games for around 15 years. I have defeated my foes many times on many different games. Things are not as exciting as the used to be. Am I getting too old for this -blam-? Many of these games feel like I have played them before.
