However it is immensely fun to get a hunter to lunge right of a cliff
that's just cruel!

Never, ever melee attack a hunter from behind, just don't.

Grunts all the way, plus it's fun to slowly kill them with the Pistol

Well that's an oxymoron if I ever saw one.

He can only mean that by taking out the God pistol in front of one, the Grunt gets a heart attack. I think.

Danged Jackals. The Suarian Variety. I hated the canine versions for other reasons.
Their ability to -blam!- your shields with their little OC bolt, deadly accurate plasma fire and that stupid tuck and roll thing they did to evade incoming fire. I saved frags specifically to take out the little beggers.
One of the most satifying things is to unleash a clip of needles at them, ping their shields w/ AR or pistol and then watch the needles impact and resulting pink awesomeness as they ragdoll across the landscape. Yeah, I hate the little 'tards.

xD I loved it when they did that. Replacing it with that evasive hop made them less fun to deal with. Ever since H2, the Jackals have been slowly becoming moving shields and unrealistically fast speed devils.

Same here but I didn't always have to use my frags on them.

I should have included Jackal roadkill in the poll eh? :P Well now that I've got enough results, I can remake the poll.

Who could say no to a Grunt?

Definitely Hunters.
They were so powerful and alien looking.
Either them or the Elites.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

My favorite enemy in Halo CE was the Grunt; I don't even know why.

Elites, they were just a really fun enemy to fight.

I actually love Elite Majors. They're tough, but I know they're beatable-Zealots require an entirely different approach to kill

Finally, someone who understands why I included them as an option!

Relax. I'd rather not piss this thing off.

-Master Chief

The grunts, as they where the most voiced npc in Halo, plus they would say dirty words.
