Sure, you call it whatever you'd like, but users still feel the need to message moderators, so it'd take care of that, if you want to think of it that way. Not to mention that some users are just shy around the report button.

How about we just make a group solely to report things to moderators that many users message them for? That way, you have a better chance of getting a quick reaction and we don't have to mess with this other stuff or take up their inbox space.

You mean it'll be like the report button, but slower?

Hmm... I think the real moderators could do whatever they feel is appropriate; but for now, I think we could just stick with the idea of having the normal group buttons.

To the account itself yes. You can't just call up 911 and waste their time without real consequences.

Dag, this just got real. Well, I'm probably going to have to think up a name and probably message some users about it...

...that's for later in the day though. For now, I rest.

I like that flag idea; and what about a larger inbox for moderators?
Post by: Zealot Tony

I suppose so, but it's more dependent on the point where a users inbox begins to lag. I was also thinking of a more sophisticated auto-delete feature, where a user can select a specific time for messages to be deleted from the time they are received (something along the lines of never, one month, two months, ect). Again, to prevent certain messages being deleted, a user can flag them once they are received.

Like you said Zealot, "Sophisticated". Meaning it would be very time consuming and a pain in the ass trial period would surely follow.

I wouldn't know how much effort it would take to create such a system. Perhaps it would be pain straining, or perhaps it would be inordinately easy.

I suspect llamas are secretly wizards. I <3 poptarts n' milk. I like me. Grimick is defined as: a logical parodox, the act of funnaling a potato down your throat, and a deliciously flavored muffin (with pecons and blueberries). Norway is the Swedish word for 'moron'. My sister has cancer, so i get to use handicap parking and cut small children in line at Disneyland.

"Don't eat doughnuts on thin ice."

"The pancake, my friend, has officially been flipped."

Why? Are you actually worried about reaching the limit.

I would just like to know these things for future reference.

It's good to question, that is why when I need an answer I try to find it. Having the satisfactory feeling of knowledge is something that I always must acquire. So, what we learn is but a comprehension to an extended version of learning and passing that on.

So, we all must learn something, but the question still stands who wields that power?

I am a student every where I go, so I must learn. And I have learned that there is inbox limit.

:D

Philosophically that could describe a majority of people.

And also, how does this relate to inbox thingy?

If I could describe you with one phrase it would be..."like a dry sponge".

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

LOL I am only at 35 pages, I have a long way to go.
