I for one do not see a very good reason for a Halo 2 Anniversary other than to make the covenant armor transitions a little more gentle. The leaps from the armor of CEA all the way to the Halo 3 armor is a huge difference. Other than that, I find Halo 2 an already beautiful game. Anyone else have good reasons for a Halo 2 remake?

halo 2 did not impress me a lot, i hated the transitions between chief to arbiter

Halo 2 is my favourite Halo title, yet I could list 100 reasons NOT to have a H2 Anniversary.

Same. I love the buildings and skyboxes they made for it. I liked what they did for Halo CEA but I find Halo 2 great the way it is.

Bip Bap Bam in the brainpan!

My favorite chapters in the campaign were Metropolis and Outskirts, but I really would like to see an anniversary edition. Partly because of the way CEA was so excellent. If they keep the same engine but just put on a fresh coat of paint, it would be really cool.

I wouldn't mind it that much, but I would hate for them to change some of the stuff so much that it would be totally different. Like when your in the scorpian driving over the bridge after Outskirts, and you look up to an amazing skybox over New Mombasa. I guess I would just want them to keep the 'back button' feature.

I'm going to assume that they would keep that in any anniversary edition

"This is the prototype NOVA Bomb, nine fusion warheads encased in lithium triteride armor. When detonated, it compresses its fusionable material to neutron-star density, boosting the thermonuclear yield a hundredfold. I am Vice Admiral Danforth Whitcomb, temporarily in command of the UNSC military base Reach. To the Covenant uglies that might be listening, you have a few seconds to pray to your damned heathen gods. You all have a nice day in hell..."

Personally i love Halo 2 just the way it is, but for the same reasons Anniversary came out there are people that will buy it for the up to date format, online gaming with friends and the fact that one of their fav games looks a bit better. Nuff said really.

I'd like a remake but but instead of the campaign being rushed it can be compeleted fully. Like the Brutes not being overpowered and more like how they are in Halo 3. That will make the best campaign I would have played.

Though I hate to say it, Halo 2 is seriously outdated graphically. Add to that the removal of support for Xbox Live on original games and you're left with some very good reasons to launch an anniversary title.

The prospect of a Halo 2 Anniversary excites me more than that of Halo CE, truth be told - as long as it retains full support for the game's multiplayer. This means no recreation attempt in Halo 4 - native multiplayer using through same engine as campaign.

1.) "Crack In Time" - Louder Production Music
2.) "Agressive Sucks" - Moss Landing
3.) Custom Version of "Meet Oscar" - Louder Productions Music
4.) "Behind You Rise" - Distortion Music
5.) "Aurora" - Mark Petrie
6.) "Surge Down - Audio Machine

Only if they include the original multiplayer.

Halo 2 multiplayer was my fave, if they bring all the maps back i would buy it.

If you're passionate about the thing you're talking about, I'll always lend an ear.

No thanks. H2 needs no remake. It would destroy the artistic atmosphere and the game was as much a multiplayer success as a cinematic campaign masterpiece. It would not work as it's perfection lies in it's imperfections.

343i would have a bigger issue than simply overlapping the graphics and terminals and skulls to achieve a successful remake with this one. It simply not enough.

Simply I don't think Halo:CEA 2 would be done well. Simply because CEA was terrible as a glorified "full-team 343i all out commitment project"

The only thing CEA done right was the addition of 2-player online co-op and select terminal cutscene. I didn't need $40 for that. The rest they stole from Bungie. Simple as.

"Apparently people don't like the truth, but I do like it; I like it because it upsets a lot of people. If you show them enough times that their arguments are bull-blam!-, then maybe just once, one of them will say, 'Oh! Wait a minute I was wrong.' I live for that happening. Rare, I assure you."-Lemmy of Motorhead

i belive shhave funzes suppos

Yes, I'm the guy who had the Flood admit to being furries.

Online co op and bringing multiplayer back (with some adjustments) are reasons enough.

There is a thin line between insanity and genius, i would put myself right in the middle and i enjoy every second of it.

Hey, if they made it, i would buy it, all there is...

I think Halo 2 is fine the way it is, ALTHOUGH I would love to see it brought back for online play! Maybe for it's 10th Anniversary.

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

Only if they add Juggernauts, or at least an Easter Egg containing Juggernauts. Adding an HD version of the Multiplayer would be a nice touch as well.
