If this is a re-post, well, that sucks. I haven't seen a post that makes reference to the Ark as a sort of Noah's Arc...

Ok, a guy on another post reminded me of something. If 343 told chief he was the reclaimer, and that there was another before him... ok this gets into some interesting stuff.

Ok, imagine the universe as we know it right? ever expanding with no real sense for how long ago it was really created. All from some kind of big bang theory. Well what if since the original big bang that created all mass in the universe, the Halo rings have gone off. In the Halo storyline they have. The previous reclaimer activated it once. Remember 343's quote: "This installation has a sucessful firing ratio of <astronomical number> simulated, and 1 actual." That means that the Halo was fired at least once.

Now take into consideration that sentient life doesn't need to start as a monkey, or even a bug. Evolutionists tell us that all life evolved from microscopic life forms that evolved into life as we know it today...

Ok so, what we know, is that the Halo Rings have been fired once. All life has been wiped out once. Including Earth. The Ark... take that from the bible. The ark was created to save life during the time of the 40day/40night flood right?

... What do you think is in the ark, left over from the time before the last firing of the Halo Rings?

343 said that the rings could be all activated from the Ark. Perhaps Forerunners are inside the arc and are awaiting to be awakened after having survived the last activation of the Halo Rings. What if their experiment failed, and they all died within the ark?

ok, yeah I know it's been talked about as an artifact, and made reference to... I just didn't know, and I haven't seen, that it's been made reference to as The Ark from the story of Noah... *shrugs* hope it doesn't annoy anyone just because it's "The Arc is blah blah blah"...

the forerunners are dead. 343 GS said so himself.
Arbiter: and what of the forerunners oracle, what of those who built these rings?
Lightbulb: why they died of course. after exhausting everyother strategic option my creators activated the rings. they and all other sentient beings in 3 radi of the galactic center died, as planned. would you like to see the relevant data?

something like that

good relative quoting. I remember that part... but remember that 343 wasn't on earth. it is possible some survived in The Arc... if that's what it is.

Also, symbolism between the bible and halo. The forerunners wanted to avoid the "flood" by hiding in an "arc"... I know it's a stretch, but it's not entirely unlikely.

Well, who knows. Maybe the ARK is mobile. And if earth is the ark. It just happened to end up where it is becuase of the "current" of gravity, etc. So, if they took earth outside the 3 radia, then returned, they could have survived.

this may be said but think about it 343's program may have been programed not to remember about the possible servives in the ark.

the whole in the ark idea works well although the whole being woken thing i don't know. the idea that people are the forerunners works though, not to mention the idea maybe that the covonent and all other creaters where from earth but seperated after the inserdent so that there memory's would forget everything

I hope bungie does not ventured into a biblical game. It would not help them at all. I have read many of these theories and all of them are strange and all link up and unless this was all a cuwinadink which hopefuly it is or the started it like that because they didnt think it would become a big game and raise speculations. But anyways thats just me and what i think.
