Think about it. The coves worship the forrunners like gods and for good reasons too. They were uber powerful. So why could the forunners not defeat the flood without resorting to drstic measures such as halo. And why did they leave some infectious forms still alive. If they were so dangerous why didn't they just destroy them. And why r they studdying them in the first place.

Why did the coves not invite the humans into the cove. Why can the humans activate the halos when nothing else can. R we part of the weapon or r we forunner desendants? why are we called "reclaimer"?

Why?

because since the flood was thier experiment and they lost control of it, all they wanted is ethernal life like the flood. they where so advanced that they managed to creat a life better than themselfves.
to answer your last question: We are the forerunners but even the humans dont realise it yet. so does the convenants.

The Flood were not a Covenant experiment, they were a Forerunner experiment. The Covenant want the flood dead but at the same time thinking Halo makes them Gods and the humans are standing in their path.

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

No accually. Joseph Staten said that the books are cannon to the Halo Universe. If you want a quote, I'll give you one (or many).

As we learned in the books, the Covenant worship the Forerunner and believe the Halos to be the way the Forerunner became Gods. They wish to follow their Gods' path. Of course, this is all simple knowledge, right? Basic stuff that anybody who plays Campaign knows.

However, everything else is pretty much just speculation from the fans and hints from Bungie. The Forerunner studied the Flood and found something horrible: they were parasites who wanted to, basically, eat the whole universe. So they tried to fight them, but found that there were too many and they just kept coming (thus the name "the Flood"). In a final act of desperation, they built and activated the Halo rings in order to prevent the Flood from feeding (though why they didn't build a weapon just to eradicate the Flood is unknown; maybe the Halos really only destroy the Flood but the Forerunner were part Flood at the time? Who knows aside from the development team).

Regardless. It has been hinted at that the humans weren't invited to join the Covenant because they somehow wronged the aliens without realizing it. Its also been hinted, but never confimed, that the humans are direct descendants from the Foreunner (thus Reclaimers), which would explain why so many human worlds have housed Forerunner artifacts. And why the Covenant haven't figured that the humans are "Holy Guardians of the Artifacts" or some such is beyond me.

Sorry if this is just saying the same thing again, but I think it needed some clarification. And... it kinda... raised more questions than answered, when I think about it. Eh.

Okay, first of all, they activated... the Halos a long, long time ago, they couldn't destroy the flood, it would take too long, and it would be impossible, they didn't have weapons, exept for sentinels, they we're made to hold the flood off, and when the flood overwelmed them, they had no choice but to activate the Halos.

Why did the coves not invite the humans into the cove. Why can the humans activate the halos when nothing else can. R we part of the weapon or r we forunner desendants? why are we called "reclaimer"?

Okay, stop using the word "Cove" if you want to use a bareviation for Covenant, its Covie anyways, moving on, we don't know why the humans aren't the only ones that can activate the Halos, remember Tartarus? He put the index into the core of the Control room, so humans aren't the only thing, why didn't the Covenant envite the humans into the Covenant? Number one, because humans know Halo is a weapon, the Covenant don't, they beleave its a thing the forerunners left behind to activate, and when it activates, the great journey will come, the humans know this is a bad thing.
Secondly, the Covenant ATACKED reach, they atacked the humans first, so why would they envite they're worst enemies into the Covenant.

By the way, please, stop using shortcuts and use proper grammar, I'm not trying to be mean, its just I hate it.

My take on it: We are the decendants of the Forerunners. There's a very real posibility that the Prophets know this and are affraid that we would rule the Covenant. That is why they began the so-called Holy War. Halo was meant to kill the food of the Flood, not the parasite itself. Chances are that the Forerunners saw a powerful weapon in the Flood and studied it in order to use it.
It's also likely that humans posess something that no other species does, like a gene or something that allows us to activate the rings. Similar to the Stargte SG: 1 & Atlantis idea of the "Ancient Gene."

Rule #1: NEVER correct the grammar of another user when you have grammarical errors in your own posts.

I took the liberty of reading through your post and making a note of the blatant grammatical errors. You will find them listed below. The correct usage is noted in the left collumn. Your usage is noted on the right.

except - exept
were - we're
overwhelmed - overwelmed
abreviation - bareviation
it's - its
anyway - anyways
invite - envite
believe - beleave
it's - its
attacked - atacked x2
invite - envite
their - they're
it's - its

I think it's obvious that you need to seriously rethink your posting strategy. To correct the grammar of others, you first need to have a simple working knowledge of the English language. It's clear to me that you lack that skill.
