Everybody loves the perfect solution
To beat the odds against the poorest possible substitution
What you see is never what you're gonna get
Everybody's playing revolution roulette

We understand, and it is acceptable but practice makes perfect, use every opportunity to become better with a precision weapon, if say: and opponent gets near you while you are armed with a DMR, and the DMR proves to become ineffective, you may get down and dirty with your fist. If so happen you have a shotgun of sword in reserve you may switch to that weapon to defeat your opponent. Pfff! Swords and shotguns... I can't count the number of times people have tried both, and died fighting against my hands. For one shotguns are imperfect. You miss the effective range, and you get punched, spun around and beaten down. Swords can be outrun. All you gotta do is run and keep firing until they die stupidly trying to advance. The DMR is effective still in close Combat Situations as well as medium to long range. Think about it... The shotgun VS A well aimed DMR combined with skilled manoeuvring and timed melee then the shotgunner is down.
