Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Oh, and another thing...

Hahahahahahaha, ahhhhhhh...that gave me a laugh. Really, I like it. Thanks for that.

And, just so you know, the Honorable Member Conspiracy has been around for awhile in case you just think I've made it up on the stop since you're a Honorable member.

Haha, ahhhhh, good stuff.

What's this Honorable Member conspiricy? Should i be informed on a conspiricy I am supposed to be a part of? Or is that a conspiricy too............

It's all a conspiracy! Haha, nah...It's just a little joke I came up with because I would always see Honorable Members making off-topic threads or just threads that were outright stupid. Plus, they usually had bad grammar/spelling and whatnot. So, that's how the conspiracy was born. Of course, it should only be taken as a joke. I'm not going to discriminate against Honorable Members. That'd be absurd, hahaha. All in good fun.

Im a Brony, if you want to know more about mehttps://www.facebook.com/randy.norris.95 just ask.

For a retail game, it was the best I have ever spent my money on. Rich Story is what got me.

"So much of what we do is ephemeral and quickly forgotten, even by ourselves, so it's gratifying to have something you have done linger in people's memories." John Williams

I thought the plotline was great. Many people seem to think it got many bad reviews. Despite Bungie's original intention to make it as a DLC, I feel that the price was a little much - but that is determined by Microsoft and their marketing team.

Firefight was great. I like how it was more about "survival" than Reach's version for it which is more "Arcade" style.

Hmm planning the master plan? that sounds suspicious...

But aye, I loved ODST, It was a breath of fresh air after the epic end of the Chief. (Of course not anymore now that H4 is on the way) It gave a lot more perspective on the more 'human' side of the UNSC.

Also the way it still tied in with the events of H2/3 was brilliant as well.

One of the best campaigns, Possibly the best soundtrack of all the games.

Oh and characters! Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Adam Baldwin and Nolan North all in one team? I thought i had died and gone to VA heaven. They were brilliant for the characters, Its almost like the characters were made around the people rather than acting around the characters. (Except for Nolan North who isn't black, but he pulled it off well i think)

To me, ODST was going to be the after-dinner mints to help sweeten the pallette after some intense action, and it ended up being a delicious course in itself.

...now im hungry.

Not at all. I would actually call it the second best campaign, the first being CE. I guess it takes a more mature mind to appreciate a good mystery!

Hmm, yes and no. It was a really fun and interesting endeavor but I wish it was longer, or there was some continuation of the character's stories. I actually really liked it, and the music was simply 'Wow'.

I actually thought Reach was going to be similar to ODST in terms of mood and mission structure, where you'd play as each member of NOBLE Team.

That would have added heaps of longevity to the Reach campaign actually. Imagine playing LNOS from George's perspective...

Anyways, disappointment about a different game aside, ODST was great, and one of the better Halo campaigns.

My only complaint about ODST is that I was expecting a slightly more stealth. Sure you could stealth by some squads, but I wanted a feature like being in the shadows decreases how "detectable" you are and stuff.

But it was a good story, had good characters, and had a great soundtrack. By the end of the campaign I cared more about each member of the squad(Including Vergil) than I did for the entirety of NOBLE Team.

  • 01.18.2012 4:43 PM PDT

Worst campaign IMO.

I felt no connection to the Rookie or any other of the ODSTs.

Game was fun for a week then never touched it again.

Best music. Best Character development. Good story.

I think it was one of the best Halo's

"We knew the world would not be the same.
A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent.
I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita.
Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says,
'Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds...'
I suppose we all thought that one way or another."
- J. Robert Oppenheimer

ODST was originally just intended to be DLC for Halo 3, so they did in fact go much more beyond was what originally expected.

Also they brought a lot of new elements to Halo which were pretty nice in my personal opinion.

97% OF TEENS WON'T STAND UP FOR GOD. IF YOU'RE ONE OF THE 3% WHO WILL, PUT THIS IN YOUR SIG.
As comrades we have outlasted this storm known as life.
As allies we have fought through the fires across the depths of Hell. As friends we are victorious but as brothers we stand united. WE ARE RESURCTED!
The Revisionaries

Firefight was the only amazing part to me. And even that got boring really fast. I enjoy duking it out man to man over the internet personally.

my fav halo game, best campaign.

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

I loved ODST, it was exactly what I expected and exactly what we were promised.

I loved ODST. One of my favorite games. The atmosphere was perfect. I can wander New Mombasa for hours on end.

I agree. The atmosphere of the game was new, and I never actually expected that from a Halo game.

I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.

The only issue I had with it was the length. It needed to be longer.

A mission from Dare's POV would have been nice. Personally, I think that ODST would have done well to be the 3 year project instead of Reach. I'd have loved to see ODST split into 2 parts, the Mombasa detective story and then the battle of Earth when the Flood arrive, leading up to the opening of the portal and ending the game with the ODST squad dropping down to the Ark (reflecting the opening of the game).

Shabam

I didn't think so, I like how it introduced firefight into halo, and I like how the campaign worked with a semi-open world where markers to start linear campaigns were found. It was a different kind of halo play style, and I enjoyed it

I agree with this, that would've been great.

I thought the story and characters could have been a little better (what is the significance of the engineer? Did I miss something?). That and I thought Firefight should have had matchmaking. Overall though it was a good game.

Vergil would have held a lot of information on the Covenant and discovered the Excession during a seismic survey.
