If you don't got it, you want it. If you got it, you want more of it. Of course if you don't know what it is, it's hard to get any in the first place.
ODST wasn't a dissapointment. You got a upgrade to the basic Halo 3 gameplay, a interwoven narrative, and probably the only Halo game with a really cohesive narrative theme/ stylistic approach what with the Jazz music and noir aesthetic. It's a little pretentious to say this, but I'd go as far to assert it's the best of the Halo sequels.
The only damn problem was how they handled dusk and dawn in the game's engine. I'm all for realism, but it was a tad tricky to see on Buck's mission, as well as the finale.
