Subject: No sense in spawnkilling "Gang Style"

I would have to try to be bad so you people could move off your spawn. You see I don't like trying so I just walk around and shoot things, its not my problem if the other team sucks

You would also have to try in order to pin down a team in their spawn area. If you just like shooting things it's easier to do that when the other team aren't spawn-trapped, and requires less effort... So you agree with me then? :D

lol i'm fairly certain that no one would stop shooting at someone and think "Hold on!?! Maybe the other team isn't enjoying this! I must stop this at once! *Returns to base*."

Read my previous posts. Gaming should be fun for everyone Spawn killing isn't fun for everyone. Everyone can enjoy themselves without resorting to spawn-killing, so why do it in the first place If you stick to that principle. It's not about giving up weapons or vehicles to the other team, but providing them with the chance of a fun game. Not too difficult eh?

No, I shoot people and walk to where the enemies are, eventually I end up at their base and you know what happens next. Though I would prefer playing against people that can fight back.

Though I would prefer playing against people that can fight back. - an entire team pinning down another team in their base isn't simply about moving to where new enemies are and some-how ending up in their base... it requires a degree of communication, co-ordination and skill if you want to keep them there, which requires some effort from those involved.

Do you have first hand experience spawn killing the enemy team every single game you play in BTB? I didn't think so.

Why did bungie put fixed spawn points into the game anyway??
Kinda stupid, not like reach was the first game they wrote.

The better games have a spawn point based on the safe concentration of team members (ironically reach campaign will not respawn when unsafe - but in MM it doesnt care/think).

Well the OP seems to be referring to spawn-trapping/killing by an entire team, which is what I assumed you were talking about. Tell me, are you referring to spawn-killing on your own? Or with the rest of your team pinning the enemy into their base/spawn area and just killin' 'em?

Either way I don't like the tactic (or people who do it for that matter), and don't do it myself (guess that answers your question), so all we can do is agree to disagree.

Obviously with other people, but nobody needs to communicate because 99% of the people that play this game suck at it. I'd prefer not to do it and score the objective as fast as I can but in the end games that are this easy just aren't fun.

Seven's kinda right here. Very little communication is required to spawn trap in BTB because no one can really fight back.

So basically... Waypoint is pro-vanilla?

Posted by: Sentox6
Waypoint isn't pro-anything so much as they're just anti-intelligence.

lolBTB, spawntrapping is too easy if your teammates aren't retarded. Even if they are, sometimes.

lol I'm pretty sure I played you in that FC thing. You should have seen in 1 of Countdown games I had more kills than everybody else on my team combined.

lol yeah, that hemmorage game was kinda one sided. I loled when I found out you'd be playing with those guys, cause I knew you'd probably be the only one that went positive.

Yeah, they kept driving off by themselves in warthogs and that striker guy crouched around our base with the sniper the whole game and went +6.

Fairness is only possible within the limited powers of man. Elsewhere, there is only chance.

Thus I refute thee.

I'm too skilled to be spawntrapped/killed.

Wow, that sucks lol. You picked a bad time to join FC, most of the great players red side had have either left or switched to blue.

They're better than you. You deserved it.
A full party that can't score a bomb playing against randoms is considered good now?

They choose not to cap a bomb or get a flag cap.

In 3rd game they tried to score a bomb but failed 4 times. The first 2 games i was being spawnkilled happened because my teammate abandoned me so i hid and afk'd to fix me a snack and when i came back i was already found.

I joined FC with red around the end of the last H3 war. I remember one of the guys in red was a semi pro, and someone else that's in red right now was semi pro in CE and H2.

I understand not scoring the final flag/bomb so that you can spawn kill, but that 3rd game they didn't even score once. If they were truly good, they would have scored at least once and THEN spawn killed.

Then half the team quits, leaving it a 4vs8 and leads to even more -blam!-ing.

No.... just kill everything.

If a team gets spawntrapped they obviously did something wrong.. The opposing team isn't going to go back to their base for the team to get "reset" just so it happens again and again. Try to get yourself out of the spawn trap and if you can't, well quit out just like your teammates did.
