Bungie is not using dedicated servers. Microsoft is. H3 will be ran on Microsofts dedicated servers. Your 50 dollars per year or 6$ per month will help Microsoft pay for those servers.

The reason why people is cheat on Halo 2 is the sheer number of people. I'm being generous, but let's say 1 in 40 people cheat. when you have 40,000 to 70,000 people playing Halo 2, you will have alot more cheaters than say COD2 which probably doesn't even have 40.

in regards to the fact that you can block certain people and never play with them again, how often do u actually get paired up with the same modder twice?

Many xbox live games you can "bridge" on.
Halo3 will most likely be the same....

then why the heck do i get IP banned and teamstandby in training?
And that is 1 in 20 games, i got it conted.
One night my friend was IP banned TWO games in arow by the same -blam!- host...

Its not just for the rank its for the "power"
They have control and you don't...
